What he showed her in genjutsu was him attacking her which will make her think he really does not have any feelings for her.

Basically he actually cares about sakura and he knows he will walking a harsh path and he does not want sakura to follow him. He likes sakura but he does not want her to repeatedly go after her and get hurt.

Since he is playing the bad guy, he has to act evil and all which is why he told everyone that he does not care about sakura. He can't say "i like her" in front of them right after saying " i want to kill the kages" .
Basically, he does not want to show any soft side.

I hate this manga simply bc Sakura and sasuke will end up together. Basically he really doesn't love her but naruto is supposedly gonna get him to love again and he'll eventuAlly end up with Sakura. Being careful does not mean him having feelings for her. If Sasuke killed Sakura, Naruto would have one-shot him... Ergo, no, Sasuke does not necessarily have any kind of feelings for her. As Sasuke said: it is a thing of the past. The end.

Honestly? I would rather see one of them die then see SasuSaku end up canon, this relationship is so absurd. I mean guys, really this relationship is almost abusive! I don't care if Sasuke comes crying to Sakura for forgiveness, that would just be ridiculous. I really want to see Sakura become stronger in her resolve against Sasuke, but Kishi just loves to turn her into a damsel-in-distress. (Sorry for the rant I just can't handle this pairing anymore, I used to like it but then Sasuke turned into a maniac (poor guy) U_U)
Imo Sasuke will be a hermit (or be single-for-life), and the Uchiha line will (more than likely) end with him, and Sakura will end up with Naruto, because this show is all about Naruto and who has Naruto like since the beginning? Sakura. Although I'd love to see NaruHina become canon, I doubt it will happen. I'm starting to doubt that ANY pairing is going to be canon in this manga.

It's embarrassing. When I read the latest chapter with her spewing the usual crap about how she loves him, that she's useless and all she does is cry, that together they could go back to how it was in the olds days - I was mortified on her behalf.

Sasuke - is bad for her. His mere presence turns her into a complete f*&ktard.

I don't get the appeal, at all. And in terms of how it would work out - ha, could you imagine the proud Sasuke having an heir, his son, with PINK HAIR.

Sakura's love taps/temper in a Uchiha family household?

They don't fit. She's a mini-Kushina/Tsunade and what Sasuke is - is a momma's boy. If he ever married anyone, it would be a woman who resembled his mother. A yamato nadeshiko, someone like Hinata I suppose. Dark hair, womanly figure, quiet but not spineless - nobility. The man has his pride, I don't see how he'd settle for someone like Sakura, apprentice to Tsunade or not.

He did not kill Her only put Her in a genjutsu instead of using a chidori. So theirs hope and possibility sines Naruto is going to beat some Sakura loving in His hearth to keep His promises to Sakura about bringing Her Sasuke back to Her.

Sasuke has a history of not killing. Actually I can only think of a handful of lives he may be responsible for, but then again he didn't outright kill them either;
- Deidara blew himself up
- Danzo imploded himself with a suicide technique

.... eh, that's all I've got off the top of my head. For a supposed S-rank Missing-nin he's a total pansy.

But seriously, didn't the not-killing-people thing come about from his choice to not be like Itachi. He opted out of killing Naruto after the fought at the Valley of the End in Part I.
He also refused to kill opponents when training under Orochimaru (anime; filler) - wounding/maiming, yes. Killing, no.
