When he was pushed to his limits vs Itachi it wasn't the CM it was Orochimaru's chakra rising since Sasuke ran out of his he didn't have enough to hold Orochimaru back.

I was wondering how does one learn and master dragon sage mode? I mean how did Kabuto learn dragon sage mode? I know the manga dosen't state it, but what about a guide book or databook?

Hmm jiraiya is from no known clan yet has sage mode
Minato is from no known clan yet has perfect sage mode
Kabuto has sage mode although he modified his body

One doesn't need to be a Uzumaki or senju to learn sage mode, just have enough chakra and skill.

Heck Naruto when even 3 tails couldn't defeat Orochimaru managed to learn Sage Mode at the time, it doesn't set the bar that high learning sage mode.

For sage mode it requires high chakra, strong body and talent.

Because Jiraiya's SM was imperfect, so was Minato's (he even stated he was horrible at kneading senjutu) and Kabuto literally modified his body with multiple clan's KKG to be compatible with SM. Fukasaku even said Naruto suprassed Minato and Jiraiya in mastering SM. If achieveing SM is that easy, Madara with all his infinite knowledge would have done it, obviously that wasn't the case.

Sasuke was given a by product (CM) and applied it. Its like when Naruto gave the SA chakra, and they all gained cloaks, it doesnt neccesarily mean they can tame Kurama's chakra to its fullest, just that they can use what was given. Molding your chakra with NE is entirely different from using a by product successfully. Even If SM was possible for Sasuke, it would be a very inferior version to Naruto's as he lacks the genetical make up for it. Its like If Naruto weilded Rinnegan, the power scale of his rinne techs would be down a notch as he lacks the powerful chakra Indra's lineage is known for.

As I said....being pushed to your limits means barely any chakra which means Oro breaks free. It's Oro's curse mark and takes effort for obvious reasons/as we've seen.

Orochimaru came out of the CM true. But it wasn't because of Sasuke not being able to control it. It was Orochimaru's chakra was just stronger than Sasuke's at that point and forced himself free. It's kinda like a jin.

The entire point of the curse seals was to see who could obtain SM those that died couldn't those who lived could. So if only for balance reasons is probably why he didn't learn it.

Curse seal is just natural energy not Senjutsu which u have to balance your chakra and NE perfectly to obtain it. Only naruto nd hashirama have obtained these feats by themselves. Kabuto and madara had to have hashirama body to obtain it. Uchiha's and others just don't have the chakra reserves and body to obtain sage mode. Same with minato and jiraiya, there's was imperfect.

Requisites to being Sage are have tons of chakra and have plenty of guts. Two requisites Naruto has and Sasuke lack. That is why Orochimaru and Sasuke are not Sages. It was Kishi who put the rules in the Manga and it was Kishi who found Orochimaru and Sasuke not worthy of Being Sages. So no amount of arguing is going to change History and canon.
