Uchihas do not need senju dna to activate the rinnegan. Sasuke CAN activate the rinnegan. They are the descendents of the elder son of the so6p, who inherited the sages eyes. Whats more kishi has left behind many clues even before Edo madara used his rinnegan that foreshadowed it. Madara (tobi) said at least twice that he gave Nagato the rinnegan. Madara said in chapter 467 the "Uchiha stone monument within konoha had secrets left behind by the Sage of Six paths." He also said that "without Our eyes it is impossible to read". "The Mangekyou Sharingan can decode more than the Sharingan, and the Rinnegan more than the Mangekyou."
Clearly if the Statue could be read by a Rinnegan, In the uchiha ruins, then it would require an Uchiha to activate his rinnegan to read the statue. I don't know if I am on to something here, but look closely at the Demon Statue behind madara in the link below.
Atop of the two sockets is another empty socket that has the ripple-like patterns of the rinnegan.

Then he goes on to saying "Kabuto, you said did something to this body, didn't you?" Implying that he had his rinnegan and that was not something modified/activated by kabuto's work.
Kabuto tells him he knows about his battle with hashirama and knows he gained a portion of his strength. Madara looks down his shirt, says " I want to try something out" and then proceeds to use mokuton.
I think Kishi Foreshadowed the possiblity of Naruto possibly being able to use mokuton as well. He has exceptionally strong life force and is able to affect Yamatos mokuton jutsu.
IN chapter 562, 3 of Minato's guards use his FTG to teleport Mei over to the battle field. It is possible naruto will learn FTG in the near future as well. If naruto had FTG and SAsuke had rinnegan and fought it would be an even match. I think naruto would still win how ever. FTG and TBB is freakin OP.
Is it just me or does the Gedo Mazo statue look alot like the Juubi, with the bandana/ cloth thing covering its sharingan/rinnegan thing? perhaps like a corpse form of the juubi. It is after all made up of all of the souls and chakra of the bijuus that madara has collected this far.
And since the zetsu's were spawned of the statue could they possibly be related to the Juubi? hmm..
The first hokages cells were also very important to the creation of the statue/ zetsus and he was said to have controlled many of the tailed beasts at once. Perhaps that was an ability he inherited from the sage, that madara needed from hashirama for the moon's eye plan.
And is it just me or does black zetsu kind of resemble jinchuriki naruto when he is in 4 tails + mode????
Could Zetsu be the reincarnation of the juubi? iT is no doubt that black zetsu has an evil demeanor to him. If you pay attention to whenever he speaks in the manga, his text is always insidious and malicious looking lol. Maybe he is related to the ultimate bad guy, hence the reason why he has survied so long and why tobi and madara are working with him.
