Sasuke or Naruto? Which is an overall better fighter?

i agree with phoenix ryder, remember what ebisu and jiraiya said he has large amount of chakra and stamina to backup all his jutsu. and besides if sasuke is better they should name the manga after him. sasuke shippuuden sounds catchy not!

well u can't use the rasengan vs chidori thing because that's only because of what senseis they had plus think of this

everytime sasuke and naruto use chidori vs rasengan it just clashes together as if they were equal jutsus... but the truth is that they're not... rasengan is more powerful than chidori meaning that sasuke must be more powerful than naruto

Naruto's Rasengan can do more damage then sasuke's chidori, just because they go blasting eachother backwards like it's equal doesn't make sasuke stronger. And you forgot that Sasuke at that time could only use chidori like 3 time's, but naruto could use rasengan many times because of his superior chakra abilites.

The only problem I can see is kirin, and with mass shadow clones, naruto would be good against that. And with sage mode drastically increasing his speed, He could probably dodge it even if it's at the speed of light lol.

Itachi's gift can probably take out amaterasu.

Naruto has sagemode and kyuubi which give him super chakra, and make him resistant to genjutsu, and because of the extra power he could probably counter sasuke's abilities. Also Naruto knows not to look into sasuke's eyes.

Fire jutsu's? They are so weak I mean come on, whenever sasuke has used a fire jutsu against anyone, they just get the direct hit and walk off as if it's nothing, examples: Haku, gaara, naruto. Come to think of it, they are like the only ones he has hit with fireball jutsu, It's only use is for taking out shadow clones, which with naruto are pretty much unlimited. XD

Lightning element, naruto has wind element which is super effective against it, and naruto is still super fast with sage mode.

Shunpin thingie or whatever it was called, Naruto has sage mode=super speed, so naruto ends up being even faster XD

I feel that Naruto is a better fighter. Naruto may take more time to learn jutsus than Sasuke but Naruto is able to come up with new combos and such in the middle of battle. Sasuke just has his set jutsus whereas Naruto is able to just create combos in battle after finding out what the enemies strengths are. I mean look at Naruto v. Kakuzu. Naruto was using his clones as a way to gain info on his enemy. Kakashi said that he was using shadow clones in a completely new way. I sometimes think that Naruto uses his shadow clone jutsu over and over again as a way to get the enemy into a false sense of security and then he pulls out something new and kicks their ass. His stamina allows him to just continually sending shadow clones at his opponent. Naruto is playing to his strengths.

Not true, sasuke spent the full 2 month break getting Chidori down, when Naruto got 1 month to completely master rasengan.

Naruto mastered Elemental recomposition and his first elemental jutsu in one week, it took sasuke several week's to do chidori.

Sasuke took many days to get fireball down. Naruto got shadow clone's down in one night.

Sasuke's curse seal+sharingan, he didn't really "learn" them, naruto had to learn to get the kyuubi to give him the chakra(even though that isn't naruto's abilities either).

Naruto got water walking before sasuke did, and he got summoning's pretty quickly.

I can keep going on about how naruto learns jutsu's faster and better than sasuke but still/

I hate to admit it. But he has more techniques and fighting styles.

Where as Naruto only has shaddow clone and Resengan.

Naruto has more than shadow clones(a biggie) and rasengan, he has kyuubi, sagemode, rasengan, rasenshuriken(which is like a poison bomb thingie), oodooma rasengan(which is like a nuke, and was created so naruto just creates a big enough blast that he doesn't have to worry about what happened to him when he hit kabuto), sexy/transformation jutsu, and summonings.

And also I would like to point out that All of naruto's jutsus are many levels above everybody else's jutsu's.

and also, A ninja isn't someone who has mastered alot of jutsus, but someone who endures.

I still think Sasuke is the strongest of the two, he has more ninjutsu, fighting style, genjutsu... and so on.

But the real point is that Sasuke had a lot more time than Naruto! Of course sasuke is stronger(for now) he train for 3 years long with oro teaching him all he knows. On the other hand we had naruto with jiraiya, and let say the truth, he hasn't learn anything during his trip in comparison to sasuke. I would say naruto had the equivalent of 6 month of training considering they were always on the move and learning to control the kyubi (which is now useless) and sasuke 3 years of full training.

Naruto is more of a genius than sasuke is considering the real time they spend on training... trust me it hurt me a lot to say that since I'm a sasuke fan.

but you have to think again, what if naruto unleashed four tails and went all mini-kyuubi on sasuke... that in itself would be a battle, because oro was having a hard time dealing with naruto in that state alone.

trust me... sasuke is definately stronger than oro now that he has the mangekyou... remember how easily itachi beat him with the mangekyou

Agreed, for now naruto doesn't have the right ''tool'' to fight Sasuke. Sasuke is becoming an all arround fighter, he have Amaterasu, Kirin and possibly genjutsu has long range attack (which are naruto weakness), he got plenty of fire and lightning (chidori extension) jutsu for his mid range, and he's pretty good in close range combat (again he got chidori). Naruto got a lot of really strong jutsu, but that's all... he's not an all arround like sasuke.

Sorry naruto fan, but FOR THE MOMENT sasuke is still a better and stronger ninja than naruto. But like I said in a post earlier, it's only because of the training time they had(just read it in the previous tread on this question).

Sasuke uses statgey more, and doesn't use unneccassary movements in his attacks. He also analyzes the situation better. Naruto just goes head in first without thinking to much. While he may sometimes have a strategy for something, he isn't as quick thinking as sasuke.

Sasuke's a better overall fighter.

Lol,lol,lol, EASY!!! You say Sasuke has more techniques than Naruto?Let's count them:

NARUTO:
1.Shadow clone
2.Mass Shadow clone(Taji)
3.Naruto Rendan
4.Rasengan
5.Oodama Rasengan (when he fighted with the faked Itachi)
6.Wind Element Rasen-Shuriken
This are his own abilities, not every one can use them, tough every one can use Bunshin, Hengen or Kawarimi. now about Sasuke

SASUKE:
1.Lion Rendan (I couldn't remember exactly the name)
2.Chidori

This are his own abilities, not every one can use them, tough every one can use Bunshin, Hengen or Kawarimi

He can use Sharingan, but this is bloodline limit. Also he can use the seal leve 1 and 2, but Oro gave them to him, so that doesn't count. Amaterasu was given to him by itachi, so still doesn't count! In the end, they have almost equal number of abilities, but Naruto learned them all by himself!!! Also, he has will power highter than Sasuke's, but Sasuke is faster. If Sasuke uses his Seal, Naruto will use Kyubi and if he unleash the 4-tails, even the seal lv2 and amaterasu wont help Sasuke, so for me, naruto is better. Tough now sasuke has new sharingan, naruto can gather natural enegy, so, again, Naruto is better!
