Besides Naruto, it was Sasuke and Kiba who showed a remote desire of even becoming Hokage in Naruto's generation?

If these two guys were to run against each other who would get the most number of votes for that Hokage seat?

Kiba easily. I'm talking a straight election not any bull crap. Sasuke isn't eligible to run for hokage. He's a missing nin and he joined the akatsuki, joined orochimaru, attacked the 5 kages and murdered danzo, and attacked leaf ninja.

That's like a US SOLDIER killing the vice president, joining isis, joining al qaeda, leaving the U.S. illegally and attacking US soldiers.

The right way to think about this question is not to consider who has a chance of getting elected, but who has a GREATER chance of being elected. Sasuke's deeds in the war still didn't allow him to qualify.

People consider Naruto to be the hero and Sasuke just helped.
Also having a fan base of females isn't going to win the election. Otherwise we would all realize that Hillary should be President based on her fanbase. And in the end the election is always influenced by people with higher job statuses and political positions.

Kiba's weak and dumb to be blunt. The average villager won't know about Sasuke's pre-War years since he never actually did harm Konoha. The only way he did touch Konoha is by killing an old, selfish duffer that I doubt even many shinobi know about, never mind care.

What are the average people and shinobi in the village likely to know about Sasuke? That he was one of the two to break IT, and have an important hand in stopping the Edos and defeating Kaguya. So they know he's strong, and before long, they'll know he's intelligent.

When they were at the bar, they weren't mouthing about Sasuke. They were badmouthing Itachi, and one noted his brother killed him. To which the other replied that Sasuke would probably get a medal.

He was only considered an international criminal for attacking Raikage's younger brother; he did nothing to Konoha except for kill Danzō. But look at it realistically; Danzō harmed Konoha more than Sasuke ever did. He sat by and let loads of villagers die, killed the messenger toad who would've brought Naruto back; who could've prevented the destruction and played against the Hokages' wishes.

And why? To make Tsunade look bad - to further his own goals.

Exactly. Then he went and joined the akatsuki which everyone knew about. Killing Danzo was a good and to Konoha so was Itachi but they're not THAT stupid. They know he has other motives. He was a rogue ninja. There could've be a rumour that killing Itachi was Sasukes test for getting into the akatsuki etc. Danzos faults cant excuse Sasukes rep and history. You have all these leaks from the regular shinobi to root to anbu. Rumours etc circulate. I really can't see Sasuke as Hokage. A lot of people would probably rather die or have a civil war or something. The Uchiha are somewhat a horror story nowadays. Maybe a tiny bit of hyperbole in there but you get my point. I sure as hell wouldn't fully forgive him no matter how much if the truth I knew. I'd be skeptical at the very least. Guy is a loose cannon. Him and Naruto could kill everyone in the village in a single motion.

his hokage version is him being the darkness while bearing the hatred of everyone, it has nothing to do with the usual get voted and acknowledged crap. so some of these posts saying "sasuke isnt trusted" are stupid when thats the whole point of his version of hokage which is not limited to sitting in one chair and ruling one village. so kiba by default
