I don't see how anyone takes SS serious when it qualified as an abusive relationship so many times through out the manga. Any female who decides to still be with a man who tried to murder you is dumb. I was giving SS some slack but Kishimoto released Gaiden and reaffirmed just how shit their relationship is.

Kishimoto couldn't give one damn reason why Sakura was so desperate for Sasuke to love her back. When you can't give ONE reason and YOU WROTE the pairing in the first place then it's trash. But SS and Sakura fans so use to getting scraps that they'll live with a forehead poke and the fact Sasuke impregnated Sakura in the first place and call it a gourmet meal.

Okay but how does this prove anything besides that Sakura is human and capable of human emotions? We knew this already. It proves nothing for whether Sakura was the best option for Sasuke and she wasn't at all.

NH is not the best developed pairing in manga but even then there's a clear understanding on why Hinata felt the way she did, why Naruto felt connected to her and how this relationship truly worked. They had one thing in common which was being isolated and being the underdog. That was something they could bond on. What in the hell did Sakura have in common with Sasuke? At what point can she form an understanding about how he felt? The most hurt this girl experienced as a child was that everyone called her names over her damn forehead. How can Sakura be the pillar for a man she cannot understand?

And don't even bother bringing up "Well during the time Sasuke was hospitalized...".

The bride and groom might not have ever seen each other and it could take them a while to actually form a connection or even fall in love and some never love their spouses at all DUE TO NOT HAVING ANYTHING COMMON.

I have no doubt that SS came to understanding when no one was capable of reading it. It's easier to say "Sakura and Sasuke spent time together and started to understand each other" rather to actually show this in the manga and we all know why it wasn't shown because the relationship is shit. It's more about the two having no common ground to understand each other and instead of SS fans admitting that the relationship is contrived and they still ship it anyways they try to make a shallow pairing appear deep.
