Sakura knows what happened, Sasuke ranted about it before he clashed with Naruto under the Samurai Bridge. All the details weren't explained but what happened was obvious based on what Sasuke was saying.

I guess Kishi didn't know how to make Sakura understand Sasuke and plus, if she were to empathize with Sasuke, it would tear down the idea that the village is always correct.
