Now, before everyone get's all mad and such. Allow me to explain what I mean (sadly enough due to this being completely an idea I can't provide manga pictures at this time, my deepest apologies:NO
.
I get this strange feeling deep down in my gut, that all that Sasuke or rather, Indra, is just looking for redemption. Indra (looking at Madara and Hashirama) has outlived Ashura in battle and life (as far as we know).
Is it possible for Indra that he WANTS to be defeated by his brother? After all, spirits keep learning more and more. This would make Indra's character resemble his Hindu background more viable. And the Indras were benevolent God in Hinduism.
Now, we come to Naruto and Ashura. While they share a background of the "evil" Gods in Hinduism, they're being depicted as being good. Which frankly is odd.
Someone made a really far point in this thread:
I digress, back to Redemption.
By being defeated at Ashura's (Naruto) hands, Indra might finally find peace in himself.
I know it all seems far fetched, but something is off in the way Sasuke has been speaking in the past few chapters.
That, or I'm obsessed with redemption myself.
What are your thoughts on the subject?
PS: Global Mods and or Mods of this section, I have asked Ira to delete my previous thread. Due to lack of comments.
