What good is being wide awake if I can't move?

being wide awake just means I have better healing abilities. Its basically me and my friend fighting, I wake up and he is awake but neither of us can move. So that just means he can't damage me any further if we were trying to hurt each other.

Just using your example bro. But since its a fight to the death, at this rate and with Naruto's healing ability, Sasuke would die much sooner than Naruto, if Naruto is unable to survive, making Naruto the victor.

These Naruto fanboys are stupid the physical battle ended in a tie. The battle of ideals was won by Naruto. How is Sasuke the physical loser if they are both down missing an arm? Its pretty clear what sasuke meant.

I'm Sorry, but I had to log in for this. I'm sick and tired of seeing this dude troll. Spamming predictions about how Naruto is going to lose and then he actually wins and he is so blinded by denial that he refuses to acknowledge what really happened.
Naruto won and is simply better then Sasuke in every way except for looks. End of story. Naruto beat Sasuke when he continued to get never ending upgrades for free, getting power boosts and still losing to Naruto. The main thing sasuke butt hurt fans are forgetting is, Sasuke had intent to kill Naruto by using his full power. Naruto had intent of just stopping his friend by holding back so he wouldn't kill him.
Now, Sasuke did say he lost. That means multiple things. You stopped me, I lost my hatred, you clearly have stronger ideals, and succeeded. What this means is, Sasuke now has room to grow and become stronger.
Naruto is the clear victor here by defeating and stopping sasuke, while bringing his friend back. It took him 698 Chapters to accomplish this. Don't try and sell it short of what it really is. gg.

I agree , Sasuke's goal in this match was to kill Naruto , Naruto's goal was to keep Sasuke alive until he understands.
Sasuke clearly didn't achieved his goal.
Naruto clearly achieved his goal.

Now the fight can begin.

This is a fight to the death was it not? so what if theyre in the same condition at the moment. Sasuke would die and naruto would survuve and he acknowledged that. Thats why he said after he dies, Naruto can dispel the infinite Tsukuyomi. Naruto, may not have been in the best condition at the end of the fight, but he can always heal his arm like he did Kakashi's eye. But Sasuke admitted he lost in the battle of Ideals therefore he gave up on the fight. but if it were to have continued, Sasuke would have died and Naruto would have not, making him the inevitable victor.

If Naruto wanted to kill Sasuke like Sasuke did , you would have the right to say that it's a draw , but you don't cause Naruto's goal isn't to kill Sasuke.
Naruto's goal was to keep Sasuke alive until he understands , Sasuke's was to kill Naruto.

With simple words , undeniable: Naruto succeed , Sasuke didn't.

Or he lost BOTH?

Sasuke has lost more of his arm than Naruto.

Sasuke was using the power of the tailed beasts and Rinnegan.

Sasuke has no fight left in him while Naruto had.

He lost his way AND the physical battle even with the buff of all those beasts.

This is basically what Sasuke meant by "I lost". It was not about pleasing the fans. It was about symbolism.

Agreed, op but inb4 "I lost" panel spam by Naruto trolls who are so hurt that their hero could only equal his rival who solo'd him throughout the series. I get why they're being salty and clutching at straws, I would feel embarrassed too if I betted on a horse that should have been guaranteed to defeat his rival in battle, merely by virtue of having the status as the main character of the show.

Sasuke hasn't solo'd Naruto since early part 2 and Naruto could've beaten him at VotE but he didn't go all in.

Sasuke was unconscious whilst Naruto was not, how can you call that a tie?
So what does being conscious do if you can not move to hurt the other person. It just means you can stare at the sky until the other one wakes up, or someone heals you/helps you.

"I still can't move my body" "I totally wanted to bash you upside the head"

Naruto still wanted to hurt/attack Sasuke but was not able to, so what I am saying is, even if Naruto was trying to kill Sasuke at this point, he would have failed as he was not able to move.

If he tried to kill Sasuke from the beginning of the fight , the fight would probably have ended in a different way.

Don't you think that Naruto's goal in that fight was harder to achieve than Sasuke's?

Yep. It was a tie, but Naruto just won.
Naruto's goal: Bring Sasuke back = Succeed
Sasuke's goal: Kill Naruto = Failed

Naruto's awake, Sasuke isn't. Sure, he can't move, but he fought with the intention of saving Sasuke, while sasuke fought with the intention of killing naruto, big difference.

Sasuke LOST THE FIGHT. If Naruto had INTENT TO KILL, he would've succeeded in killing Sauce. But since Naruto held back to a certain degree, that holding back is what kept him on level with Sasuke through the fight.

Think of it this way, though they have rules to avoid lethal strikes/death, when MMA fighters they fight WITH intent to subdue until Ref's end the fight (or in otherwords, KILL.) Disregard morale compass, if referees weren't present to stop fights and enforce rules, the majority of the fighters who lost would be on their death beds.

Now imagine a fight with no Ref's to intervene. (Naruto Vs Sasuke)

Imagine if a fighter who decided not to follow the rules, going for lethal strikes and no Morale compass to stop after the pennant is conscienceless. Main goal is victory through death. No holds barred. (Sasuke)

VS

Imagine a fighter who knowingly enters this fight, with no intent to kill, still following fighting rules, avoiding lethal strikes ext, even without the ref present. Main goal is victory through normal means, aka not killing, following normal MMA fight procedure. This substantially puts this fighter at a FAR GREATER DISADVANTAGE. (Naruto)

Naruto still came out on top, while still holding back his killing potential.

They may have technically been unable to move and unable to fight in the end, but since Naruto was at a greater disadvantage and yet still pulled out a draw...

Naruto won

How can you say that for sure? You are now going into fanfic, IF does not mean anything. For all we know, Naruto could have tripped up dropped on the ground, hit his head and died.
