Sasuke disappointed me after killing...oh sorry, being handed a win by itachi...I actually thought after his genius battle with Deidara that when he told madara that he wanted to destroy the leaf that he was doing the same thing as itachi and just tricking madara - thinking that his mental capacity was high enough to play madara and not be manipulated...sadly i was mistaken.

I will complete with this...is sasuke a powerful shinobi? Yes
Is he a genius fighter? Yes
Do I like his moves and abilities? absolutely

From my perspective, it seemed that the Uchiha did plan an uprising and what happened to them not only prevented a war but also prevented the Uchiha name and reputation to fall.

Sasuke should have been killed on the day of the massacre, leaving him alive just destroyed the mission. Now he's a top class criminal. Allow me the list some of the wrong paths he chose.

1. He betrayed his own village who kept him safe after the Uchiha massacre.
2. He joined up with a well-known criminal and a missing-nin, Orochimaru. Oro is famous for causing the 3rd Hokage's death. He's also famous for wanting to destroy the Hidden Leaf.
3. He attempted to kill Naruto, Yamato, Sakura and Sai.
4. He killed his own "ally" Orochimaru and picked up Jugo, Suigestu and Karin so he can put them to good use.
5. He fought Itachi and supposedly won. Thinking he had killed Itachi, his mission for avenging his clan was completed or so we thought. His crying had only begun.
6. Now, he had a choice to here to go back to the village and be hailed as the avenger he was or join Akatsuki, the organization that was famous for being infamous. He joined up with Akatsuki .
7. He invaded the Hidden Cloud attempted to capture the brother of the Raikage and even went as far as to kill a Cloud nin.
8. One failure after another, he decided to just **** it and kill Danzo. He interrupted the 5 Kage meeting at the Kage Summit with Zetsu and went as far as to attack all 5 Kages, handicapping the stupid Raikage in process. He failed, Tobi saved him.

Look, so far you've been stating Sasuke's wrong paths but you are wrong if you look at this point of view because Leaf, itself is to blame for this! 3rd Hokage turned his back on the clan, Danzo and the other elders ordered the Uchiha massacre. You know it and I know it that Uchiha clan was always strong but Konoha people never respected them generally.
They co-found Konoha and what do they get? To live in a remote corner of Konoha and Konoha's Police Force meanwhile Hashirama, Tobirama, Hiruzen, Minato became Hokages with the years passing none of the Uchihas did become one, it is not true that Uchiha clan planned that Nine-Tailed Fox attack.

Are you seriously linking a quote from Tobi's story? He also told us that didn't use the Fox to attack the Leaf and that it was a "natural" disaster? Both Minato and Itachi confirmed that Tobi was indeed using the Fox and had planned to destroy Konoha.

Let me ask you this. Did the Uchihas look miserable? Did they look like they were isolated in a small corner of the village? How do you know they were disrespected? Sasuke grew up just fine. Itachi grew up fine. Actually, Naruto was the one who always got picked on by the villagers. A Uchiha was even part of Tobirama's team during the war in which he died. Please look at Tobi's story in a logical way, there is NO way that his story is 100% accurate. It simply doesn't make sense.

True that both Senju brothers were the 1st two Hokages but the 3rd was chosen in the heat of battle. He was obviously the best out of the group Tobirama was with and he proved it by being the longest reigning Hokage. 3rd hails from the Sarutobi clan. Both him and Minato Namikaze are not Senju. Sarutobi was considering Orochimaru or Jiraiya to be Hokage but Oro was not suitable and Jiraiya did not like the idea of being Hokage. Minato was the best option seeing as he was a child prodigy.

To me, it seems like the Uchiha clan were the bad guys. The simple fact that they were all "missing" at the time of the Fox attack is odd enough.

I completely read your post and there are different versions of this story, I want to believe Tobi's version! The Uchihas felt miserable and disrespected, the never earned what they deserved, they were equal to the Senjus but they were thrown in a remote corner and to "please" them Tobirama gave them the police force of Konoha. I agree with everything except your conclusion.Sasuke's life was ruined by the elders,and more importantly itachi who didn't kill him when the time came.He was screwed from the beginning,but every man must take his consequences,and sasuke kept looking in the past instead of the future where a lot of people where ready to help him succeed.From the third hokage all the way down to his team,who understood his pain and tried to help him,but unfortunately, sasuke was not strong enough and his jealousy of naruto grew out of hand.

He desperately wanted power,at any expense,so he embraced the darkness and hatred inside of him(helped by itachi,oro and madara).
He is not only a criminal.but a murderer,so he should be executed,but too much energy has been used on sasuke, in this series, too him not get some sort of resolve.Not by coming back to konoha,unless in a coffin,no he will get rid of the hatred with the help of naruto and either die as a hero or become a less emotional villain,perhaps even a vigilante.

I agree with Inception to some extent... The thing is, what makes us humans the superior most creatures? Ans? The difference b/w right and wrong... Good and evil.... I am not going to elaborate, as that job has already been done, i admit sasuke had a brutal childhood and it was unlucky, but let me say this, why don't u have a look at Gaara and naruto's life and characters! Sasuke acted like most of the people would... And let me tell u, he is driven by greed of peace of mind(just like gaara was and at some point naruto too) , even if he destroys the whole world, he will never be satisfied... Thats when it comes to "being human"... If he ever had a true desire for contentment, he would have never sunk so low...
And no, i don't think killing sasuke is a right option... He needs to be slapped awaken... Now see this, sasuke has a purpose(vengeance) and also naruto has a purpose.... If only, either naruto beats the hell out of sasuke and render him powerless, that would be the time for his mind to change(with naruto's perseverence)... Or, a big twist, naruto dies at the hands of sasuke and says last few words, that might change him too..... These two points contradict each other. Did Itachi not do the same? Sasuke has killed Orochimaru and in a sense avenged the third hokage

How's this a wrong path? Itachi wanted Sasuke to kill him, that was his plan all along.

6. Now, he had a choice to here to go back to the village and be hailed as the avenger he was or join Akatsuki, the organization that was famous for being infamous. He joined up with Akatsuki .
7. He invaded the Hidden Cloud attempted to capture the brother of the Raikage and even went as far as to kill a Cloud nin.

8. One failure after another, he decided to just **** it and kill Danzo.
Duh, this was him main goal all along, you can't deny that this is justified

He interrupted the 5 Kage meeting at the Kage Summit with Zetsu and went as far as to attack all 5 Kages, handicapping the stupid Raikage in process. He failed, Tobi saved him.
^Obviously that was an act of self-defense. Who attacked first, the raikage or Sasuke?

9. He betrayed both Jugo and Suigestu for his "revenge".

10. He killed Danzo with the help of Karin and Tobi who I have to say saved his life. It would have been a tie and both would have died if Karin wasn't present to heal her love and if Tobi was not there to teleport Sasuke out of Danzo's seal.

I think this clearly shows the transformation of Sasuke from a good character to a piece of shit. All he does is cry about things. Please don't give me, "Sasuke had a tough life" bullshit. Almost every character in Naruto had a tought child hood. They're not as ****ed up as Sasuke. There is no hope for him and no place for him on the good side. He deserves death just like all the criminals in the Naruto universe. What makes him so special? The only logical explanation I can think of is that Naruto is madly in love with Sasuke and will never let him go.

Also it doesn't take much to realize that most people's actions are justified.
