Uhhhh killing a cursed clan that was about to start another ninja war by weakening Konoha? Itachi made the correct decision. He went through a war and saw many deaths at a young age. More deaths would have came with another war. Sasuke does not get this though.

Great thread. Wow for once people aren't calling Sasuke "Sas-gay". I've thought about this too and agreed in Sasukes position I'd do the exact same thing. As irrational as it is to try to destroy the whole leaf I understand that the reason why the leaf is in peace and prosperous is due to the sacrifice of my whole entire family. Sasuke was put in a real effed up situation.

Also if you think about it many popular Heros are anti Heros which purpose is to seek revenge like Sasuke. Ex. Kratos (God of War), The Punisher (Marvel), Scorpion (Mortal Kombat). Sasuke in his in view is a anti hero not a villain.

but what makes u think the uchiha themselves didnt have any part do with the fox attack that caused suspicion to begin with. Why becuase madara said so? Because its funny as he also siad he didnt cause the fox attack to sasuke.

I can't blame him for wanting to kill itachi, but after learning of the truth he should have went back to the leaf and expose the elders, Not try to kill every innocent person in the leaf who had nothing to do with what happend.

The fact that Madara said that the Uchihas were innocent should be enough proof that they are. He didn't lie about being responsible for the attack, he said it was a natural accident- which it was, naturally a tailed beast can be released during birthing.

Also if your going to even question the innocence of the Uchihas since the witness account came from Madara than you should question everything that Madara said about so6p, the 10 tailed beast, the 1st hokage etc. Most of what we know about sage is from Madara but you have no reason to believe that right? Most of what we kno about the history of the leaf, Senju and uchiha and even the 1st is from Madara but you have no reason to believe that too right?

It illogical. Flawed logic. Just cuz Madara didn't say "yea Sasuke I released the 9 tails" doesn't mean he's a liar nor does it mean he lied about anything. What he said and what Itachi said about the past uchiha lines up. What Madara said and what jiraiya said about the so6p lines up. So if everything lines up than uchiha were not part of the 9tails attack like he said.

Also if the govt conspired to have your older brother to murder you entire family, you wouldn't become slight deluded when you found out?

Sasuke has all the right to be upset , the elders in the hidden leaf didn't know which uchiha had cause the destruction with the kyuubi so they isolated the uchiha. Treated them unfairly keep a close eye on them the uchiha thought they were planning something against them so that's why that all happened. The uchiha wanted peace if they didn't they would of continued in the step of war with madara. Asking the uchiha would have made it much easier and they've stouped to level of killing sasuke a innocent child who has nothing to do with it smh.

I completely agree with you if i was sasuke i would kill everyone in kohona....

That's what people don't understand , they just look at him as a maniac who kills everybody ( which is true ) , but look at the circumstances that lead him to this.

wrong, the seal that binds the tailed beast inside a female jinchuriki while she is giving birth WEAKENS, it doesn't automaticaly meen that both the child and the biju are comming out. if madara had not botherd them at that time the fourth and his wife would have restoured the seal, they were about to begin that when madara enterd.

questioning what madara sais depends on who he is talking to. he wishes to manipulate sasuke, so hiding to him that he is responsible for the kiuby attack that lead to the village's suspucion of the uchiha's is his best bet. because if you remember just that fack then you can ultimatly derive that madara is responsible for the konoha elders to give the order to kill of the uchiha clan. it were his actions that lead them to belive that the uchiha were not playing nice, this lead to the uchiha's planning a coup and the village to respond to that threat.
appart from sasuke he doesn't have much to hide from the rest of the world about his history. and when he talks about his plans for the future to the world it's also a way of manipulating, just giving them enough information to come to a conclusion he wants them to reach.

true madara doesn't always lie, he only tells the trought when it suits him or when there is no point to lie. see above statements for more detail.

shure, I would, it just depends on what you do right after that points to your future. do you go into a rage and start acting befor thinking, do you make up your mind at that moment what your future holds. Or do you curl up into a balll, take some time to mourn and start questioning those moments, become calm to have a complete oversight befor you make up your mind about your future and how you are going to put the responsible ones to justice.
personaly I don't know what I would do, but I would like it very much if I could find the strength to do the second thing.

The third wanted a resolution, had they tried a peaceful way first, they would have the hokage by their side, but nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, they decided, "Hey lets kill everyone in the village, weaken the entire country by doing so, and worry about the other couple of countries that will more than likely try to kill us and take this land when we get there"
