Why tell them anything when he needs to think of a plan first? They literally would do nothing even if he told them. They are a waste of breath at this point. Kakashi even agreed to an extent. As a general you need to stay focus, would you tell a fodder something that is beyond there reach? What strategy would benefit sakura and kakashi at this point? since you are so sure the two can help out.
