You know they have respect for each other and equally stand on the same ground as men. So I don't know why you're humoring him.

The only thing is that Naruto is above him in regards to rank and formalities. The Daiymo and Kages would address Naruto over Sasuke on such matters regarding the village and threats. However, Naruto has every means to call them together or include Sasuke if he asks for an audience like he did in the gaiden when he was talking about looking for threats in other dimensions. Sasuke requested they come together for his findings. Naruto did just that.
