[Theory] Sasuke is testing Naruto.

This is my first post so ill make it quick ish. Sorry if its texty.

I believe sasuke is testing naruto's beliefs in the most serious way possible by controlling the biiju and locking them away so nobody can get any more power ups, they can fight one on one with they're current powers.


Naruto says he would never betray/kill a friend which he considers sasuke but at the same time he also said if he fought sasuke they would both die. Considering that theres a movie coming out I believe they wont die.


So what I think is going to happen is they are going to fight and sasuke is going to keep pushing naruto trying to get him to kill him but naruto isn't going to go. So sasuke is going to kill kakashi and/or sakura/ the kages but he has the rennigan so he can bring them back. Then right when naruto is about to snap he just stops trying to fight sasuke and sasuke realizes that no matter what he does naruto will not kill them/ go back on his promises so he stops fighting also. Because they both want the fighting to stop and change the world so they work together and stop IT and sasuke brings back the people that he killed and releases the tailed beast from CT. Then the movie will be about them changing the world and stopping all the rest of the people fighting ending the last war.

Or sasuke might not kill anybody and they might just fight till its like VotE but naruto wont stab him in the back like hashirama did to madara or try to actually kill sasuke. Maybe sasuke will collapse like naruto did but instead of leaving naruto will help him up.

Idk just throwing ideas out there.

That is actually an interesting way to look at it, and it is possible. I can see the possibility where Sasuke is just testing Naruto to see if his beliefs and morals are stronger than his.

Naruto not wanting to kill Sasuke is well known here but also if Sasuke would Sakura/Kakashi then that would be pretty hard to forgive and would probably result in Naruto killing him

I was thinking of it as a way to try and push naruto to kill him which goes against his beliefs. And thats just his way of setting them aside because they would of given naruto more chakra if when sasuke betrayed them. Sasuke wants to go 1v1.

I dont think its always a life for a life though ex. stupid weak almost dead naguto.
Also if naruto and sasuke work together they with both yin and yang they could probably bring them back.
And sasuke and his rennigan are on a different level than any other we have seen.

But the only people who we have seen use it were knocking on deaths door. ex. super weakened naguto who revived a village and obito who just had the 10 tails ripped out of him after countless other things and even he still was alive for a bit after.
Death reaper uses your soul, where Rinne Tensei uses chakra hint why the reason konan way worried because he had little left.

i dont wanna be a **** but a few periods in that last 2 sentence paragraph would be amazing. And I think i understand what you were trying to say about sasuke and yea i agree. I think its the only way to really turn him back to the good size. They both want to change this messed up system however sasuke wants to do it quick and easy. But he will give in to naruto and let naruto show him that he can change the system the hard way.

Earlier on when Obito and Madara had revived the Ten Tails, Obito said to Madara "In order for you to become a jinchuriki you need a living body, and for that I need to throw away my life to use Rinne Tensei on you"

Yes but he didnt know the ins and outs of all the rennigan abilities. All he knew was naguto killed everybody and then revived them at the cost of his life not knowing he was weakened badly. Plus didn't he have his pain do it to bring back the others?

Which Pain? Jigokudo was able to restore the other Pains, but that wasn't the Rinne Tensei. I'm sure he knew enough about the Rinne Tensei. Hashirama knew what it was when Madara tried controlling Obito the first time.

Well it honestly makes no sense as how Hashirama knew about it though seeing as how he never knew about the rennigan or that madara had it, so he shouldn't have known any of its powers.

Hashirama most likely knew the legends of the Rinnegan like Madara did once. Madara also told Hashirama a lot about his plan and the origin of chakra, Hashirama may have gotten more info than we saw. Also, Rinne Tensei can revive someone at the cost of someone's own life force, its like Chiyo's jutsu just on a much bigger scale. It doesn't straight out cost your life, it costs your life force. Though the cost his enough to kill anyone, as no one seems to have enough to survive it. Also, Obito knew a whole lot about the Rinnegan, both from seeing Nagato using it and from what Madara told him about it and the Rikudou's Jutsus. In other words, Obito knew more or less everything in regards to the Rinne Tensei. ​
