Sasuke is Overrated!

here's my views, in terms of skills, jitsus, techniques, abilities, brute force, intelligence and probabilities of winning battles, saskue is not over rated. saskue is a well rounded ninja that is able to hold is own against most of the characters in the anime. lets us review is fights.

1.saskue vs deidara- most people in anime world today seems to think that saskue lost that battle, because he summond and hid in manda, evading deidara sama's epic explosion. i come to tell you, that the fight was not drawn diedara got owned, why?. becasuse a summond is nothing more than a tool that a ninja uses in battle to his/her advantage, if that is not so then most of the fights in the manga is not credible.

1 naruto vs gara first series head frog was summond
2 naruto vs nagato summonds was done by both of them
3 guy vs kisame a tutle was summon
4 temari vs the that sounds ninja in part 1, a cheetah or cat was summond
5 nagato vs jiraiya summonds was use by both of them
6 tsunade vs orochimaru vs jiraiya summonds was used by all three
7 hanzou vs the three sannins salamanders was summond by hanzou
8 could go on the whole day really, conclusion deidara was owned by saskue.

2. saskue vs orochimaru- was that even a fight? non the less snake man still got owned.

3. saskue vs raikage - could go either way if gara had not itervene

4. saskue vs danzo- saskue clearly owned danzo

5. saskue vs itachi- saskue clearly got own by a sicken and weak itachi,

6. saskue vs naruto part 1- naruto got owned

In conclusion saskue is not an overrated ninja, maybe he was overrated in how he obtained power, meaning getting curse seal from snake man and amaterasu from itachi to unlock susanoo, while naruto had to buss his ass to controll kyubi, activate sage mode, learn rasengan and so on.

i personally dislike saskue and want him to get owned by naruto, so don't think for a second that i am not a saskue hater because i am. any what you think about my logic about saskue not being over rated though?

sasuke and naruto are both overrated cause thats all they show...along with kakashi guy and some others...who else gets more than 1 big fight if that? neji's teams big fight...was against themselves lol and u kno if they give neji or lee one its gonna be against a long range opponent...kankuro gets owned by sasori and never seen again...temari where is she at? lol...kiba does nothing...shino nothing big...hinata nothing big..shikamaru is really the only one who really got some spotlight...choji and ino are useless...sakura was seemingly growing to be useful in her fight but now is becoming useless once again...the point is sasuke is overrated along with naruto simply because they get all the play time while evryone else is on the bench...

dude, he survived that hit because of the fox. Secondly, the rasengan has never been proven to be more powerful, that's just how sasuke took it because he was already pissed off. They are two completely different attacks used for two comletely different purposes, get your stuff straight. And you can't say, "well naruto, "pulled his punch", even if he did, that was his dumbass idea, sasuke could've easily killed naruto afterwards. Naruto was the idiot who thought the "emotional level" would work

I'd also like to say, i hate people who go all the way back to before shippuden, that fight is over! Since then sasuke took on naruto, sakura, sai and yamato, by himself, fought with kakashi after he killed the hokage, AFTER HE FOUGHT WITH OTHER KAGES and he then nearly killed sakura, after which he still matched narutos rasengan even though he was just about blind and exhausted from a shitload of fights.

let me ask you this, how many great fights has naruto actually fought since shippuden?

1) It doesn't matter that he survived because of the fox. It's the ninja world--EVERYONE has special gifts, talents, jutsus and attributes that make them unique. It's just like saying(for example) "Sasuke would not have won if it wasn't for the curse mark". Do you see how this argument is not a really good one?

2) The Rasengan HAS been proven to be a more powerful, higher level jutsu than Chidori--for those who were paying close attention. Rasengan is such a high level "spatial recomposition" technique that the other three Rasengan users could not figure out how to add an "elemental recomposition" to it. Kakashi even said that being unable to do the above, he decided to create Chidori(a lower level technique) instead. In fact, the Rasengan was(until the Rasen Shuriken) an incomplete technique. If you really want to compare the two techniques, you would have to compare Rasen Shuriken to Chidori--and we already know how THAT would turn out.

Let's say you STILL want to compare Rasengan to Chidori--think about this. A single round from a .50 cal can punch a hole into one side of a tank and out the other...literally. If you angle it right, you MIGHT even be able to take out the gunner and the driver in one shot. A missile, on the other hand, would blow up the whole tank and injure anyone nearby. Do you understand WHY I say the Rasengan is more powerful now?

3) Sasuke has done a lot of fighting--I'll give you that. I don't think you're being objectional enough about it. Yamato, Sai and Sakura are NOT on the same level as Sasuke and Naruto. Naruto himself was still injured & recovering from going four tails on Orochimaru. As for everything AFTER Sasuke beat Orochimaru, he had a healer on his team during his travels. I will say that he(like Naruto) is most likely more powerful than any Kage one-on-one. So it's not surprising that he was able to fight for the duration of time that he did. As for matching Naruto's Rasengan a second time...Naruto IS NOT trying to kill Sasuke! Naruto could have gone Sage Mode if he wanted to walk away the winner. He could have used Rasen Shuriken. In the end though, there are too many "what ifs" to go down THAT road.

4) Naruto had Pain. If you think that is nothing notable, keep in mind that Pain killed Jiraiya. Jiraiya was AT LEAST Kage-level strength. Pain was powerful enough to completely wipe Konoha off the map BY HIMSELF.

I'm not trying to down Sasuke--I admit he is now one of the upper echelon of the Naruto world. It's just that some people(not saying you) are trying to paint him out to be the most powerful in the series and I don't agree with that. Hope you can understand my arguments a little better now.

In the end, we should all take a lesson from Shikimaru:

Why is this thread still alive? There is no proof that sasuke is overrated whatsoever. If you don't like him, fine. The rest of you just look like fanboys trying to boost your confidence in naruto or other characters when you post threads like this lol. You fell right for kishi's trap btw, sasuke is supposed to be a character that is loved and hated, that's why he IS the most talked about naruto character. You guys saying he's shit and stuff just feed to that fire of sasuke being badass so i say, bring on the hate towards him, call him overrated, do what you wish, you're just making him an even bigger character so if you believe he's overrated, blame yourselves ROFLMAO. lol i post this like feb...im suprise it lasted this long...lol wow, i think just about everyone put something into this...i would like to add one last thing before i put this tread to rest...Sasuke is a great fighter and i believe he is or if not close to Kage level but the reason why i posted this thread is because people have him as the best in naruto and he is not! People hype him too high and he hasnt shown anything of that level so with that being said, hes a good ninja but right now sasuke is not in the top five and is not better then naruto, conversation over...

jk, but he really is overrated. When people make statements like sasuke can beat Pain, the Emperor of the naruto world i simply ROFLLMAO. *ex.remember when naruto and sasuke was kids and they were on the top of the roof...naruto formed the rasengan and sasuke the chidori, and before they hit Kakashi broke it up...naruto back waves did way more damage then sasuke.
3.Before the final fight with naruto,i really dont remember him lol...he couldnt beat rock lee, he couldnt beat Gaara, i think he peed his pants when he saw orochimaru for the first time and i dont even remember him in the fight with zabuza.
4. he waited until orochimaru was at his weakest to attack him...orochimaru healthy would have destroyed sasuke
5.deidara had him beat but he..yet again had to depend on orochimaru and bring out Manda to keep him alive other wise he would be dead.
6.killer bee killed him like 2times, if it wasnt for his team...sauske would be dead
7.he thought he was billy bad a** and walked into the five kage submitt and got whip by the raikage...gaara had to help,then the mizukage had him but father madara helped.
8.lets not forget he went all out and you cant say he didnt, and couldnt keep up with,50%/Poison/holding back itatchi even after getting that power from orochimaru
9.research it(people who was clearly faster even with the almighty uchiha sharingan-Rock lee, Kakashi,Naruto(1tailed back when kids,Itatchi,Killer Bee and the raikage)

I see there are a lot of misconceptions on what overrated and underrated means. After deep thought I've come up with a list of who is really overrated and underrated:

Top 5 most overrated:

1: Madara - He was born with the second most powerful gekkei genkai, but despite that, he has to resort to stealing his brother's MS, stealing the rinnegan yet despite that he lost to the 1st hokage so badly that after 100 years he's still crippled. He had to steal Danzo's Izanagi to fight Konan and all he's been doing is killing fodder ninja.

2: Kakashi - Why the hell do I hear people claiming that kakashi is kage level, he can defeat the akatsuki etc. NO IN HELLS WAY HE CAN'T. Do you know what a Kage level ninja can do, or what kind of reputation these ninjas have; the 3rd raikage went toe to toe with a bijuu and died fighting an army of 10,000 ninjas. the 3rd tsuchikage can reduce an island to dust. the 1st hokage fought Madara when he had EMS and the Kyubi but beat him so badly that after 100 years he's still injured. you get the point.

3. Sasuke - just bekuz he's strong that does not mean that he isn't overrated. the whole world thinks that pre ms sasuke>orochimaru. the whole world thinks that sasuke, both pre ms and ms>itachi. the whole world thinks that sasuke killed zabuza. the whole world thinks that sasuke can fight 5 kages. there are people who believe that ms sasuke can challenge pain even after chapter 552-554 came out showing how pain>itachi. sasuke has kage level ninja skill, but all the other myths mentioned up above are very untrue. but still sasuke is a great ninja, but i hate him for being emo

4. naruto - shadow clone, rasengan - thats all he knows. but sage mode and rm make him top tier, but hes still talentless and an idiot.

5. shikamaru - smart, but i dont understand how asuma thought that he should be hokage.

underrated

1. Orochimaru - every fight he gets he has bad circumstances yet pulls out a fair fight, but ppl still believe that sasuke before he had ms>oro. really? WTH

2. kankuro - the guy can control 6 different puppets and will eventually surpass sasori, yet no one ever mentions him at all.

3. sasori - what a beast. what a beast. the guy had the worst circumstances a ninja can possibly ever have, yet by the end of the fight chiyo and sakura were seriously injured. ppl think hes weak bekuz kishi recked his rep but tbh chiyo is a kage level ninja and combined with sakura were the best possible opponents against sasori, simple as that.

4. guren - just because shes filler that doesnt mean she isn't as strong as kakashi or other high level ninjas.

5. chouji - tbh chouji now is pretty much the 3rd strongest of the konoha 12, next to sasuke and naruto

Jiraiya, Kisame and the third hokage>>>>>> Sasuke. One they all gained their strength naturally, while sasuke has been dependent on power boosts and forbidden jutsus throughout the series. jiraiya lost to hanzo with the other sannin when they weren't even in their prime. jiraiya didn't know rasengn and orochimaru didn't know kinjutsu. even though jiraiya and tsunade had trouble with oro when he had no arms, oro is simply BEAST and jiraiya was drugged to the point where he had a hard time even standing up. in a good fight jiraiya=orochimaru. kisame had only 30% chakra and he had to fight guy, neji, lee and tenten at the same time, plus there isn't a ninja alive who could survive 8 gates the way kisame did twice. the third hokage had to fight 2 immortal hokages, and orochimaru while he was old and had no prep time. and being old is a great disadvantage if it means that you have to go 2 a chiropractor every time u bend ure back, or u cant breath, or u cant walk properly. but despite all that he killed both hokages and sealed orochimarus arm. third hokage in his prime>pre ms sasuke and >= or <= ms sasuke.
