Just because they have similar colors doesn't mean he's the leader of root.

Is it stated anywhere that the color scheme of the root leader has to be that specifically? No? Then there is no evidence here other than sasuke having the same colors as danzo.

Sasuke was wandering around, there is nothing that suggests sasuke doing anything other than walking, he doesn't mention patrolling, nobody mentions it, he doesn't refer to konoha, there is nothing you can base this claim off of.

I don't believe Sasuke would spend close to ten years touring the world making up for his sins.

in 699 that he told Sakura he would travel the world in order to redeem himself,but he did mention he would be back.

In 699.5 which takes place two years after 699 Sasuke has still not returned but is seen in the movie's trailer protecting Konoha.

In 700 which takes place six or 7 years into the future we see that Sasuke did come back and settle down with Sakura. I believe Naruto and Sasuke are both protecting Konoha, Naruto as the,public face " Hokage" and Sasuke from the shadows as either the head of a newly refurbished reformed root/ head of Anbu.

I do not believe Kishi would have Sasuke roaming the world aimlessly for close to ten years abandoning his responsibilities to his home, family and friends.

By settling down with Sakura he made a decision to come back to Konoha, he chose to be with his family and home.
