I think what Sasuke means by "Immortality" is not physical upon himself but rather spiritual, Sorta like incarnation. Same way Indra and Ashura lived through generations.

Anyways, this is just an assumption.

He got numerous options:

Now, if you want to argue the manga, be my guest. I didn't make this up.
No one disputes that, with the Rinnegan, Sasuke could come up with some plan (like Madara did) to return to life. Sasuke could easily learn and utilize Orochimaru's techniques, too. And, unlike Madara, Sasuke has full use of the Rinnegan in his youth, whereas Madara only gained the Rinnegan as an old man nearing the end of his life.

I highly doubt that Sasuke has immorality in mind at this point.

EDIT: Just noticed that Kishi goofed in that picture; Naruto isn't supposed to still have his TSBs at that point. I believe they were already destroyed by Sasuke's Susano'o arrows early on in the fight.

He most likely did considering he witnessed Danzo cheat death and had knowledge on Orochimaru's immortality jutsu, maybe he even planned on summoning the Gedo and becoming it's host to extend his life span :eww:

Sasuke is immortal in the sense that he IS Indra, and Indra throughout the centuries, reincarnated through many shinobis, Madara and Sasuke being the only known ones, that's why Sasuke said, Reincarnation Immortal. his Immortality is Reincarnation.

Yeah he died because his body isn't what's immortal which I have stated, immortality is ambiguous and can be represented in different ways. Orochimaru was mortal but made himself immortal by having the ability to use the transmigration jutsu, he can be killed but as long as he uses that jutsu he can stay alive

Likewise, if Sasuke uses transmigration jutsu like Orochimaru or Izanagi like Danzo he can prevent himself from remaining dead. The Rinnegan has already been stated to grant the user power over life and death. Nagato died after using Rinne Tensei because he wasn't the original owner of the Rinnegan and was out of stamina and chakra from overusing the dojutsu

Outer Path — Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique (外道 輪廻天生の術, Gedō — Rinne Tensei no Jutsu)

Heading: One's life is not spared for a worthy cause, life burns after it's returned from the underworld.

→ Gedo's power to return to the soul to the flesh a second time.

Six Paths technique, the antithesis to the Nakara Path, is this technique. The ruler of hades is summoned, the life of a deceased is granted life. It's different than Edo Tensei, because one is brought perfectly back to life with the body/flesh being rejuvenated, a supreme technique. Nagato had the technique in his possession and he used it to rejuvenate everyone in the Leaf village. A wondrous miracle technique, of course naturally there exists an equivalent exchange. One's life. To stake ones life, one would decisively say it's self sacrifice.

Sasuke wasn't hyping himself up in this instance. He was actually thoroughly explaining his plan. So he actually had these options and thats what makes it fact.
I'm not even sure if you know what the word "fact" means. Can you show me literal evidence substantiating his "immortality"?

I guess Madara is universal, since he stated it himself.
