I was literally about to quote you in that previous thread from today. Haha.

It's likely that Sasuke didn't even know if he could truly become immortal, but assumed that with the Sharingan and Rinnegan, he could either create or learn some way to live forever.

If Orochimaru, Kakuzu, Sasori, and Hidan could essentially do it, a man with the Rinnegan and Sharingan most definitely could.

He is immortal but not in the biological sense like Kaguya, the Rinnegan grants control over souls so he should be able to prevent his own from going to the pure world since Outer Path is stated to be outside the cycle of life and death. He should also be able to use Izanagi without going blind.

Now that you mention Hidan, it got me thinking.

In order for him to be immortal, Hashim would have to exist.
Jashin is a god, possibly Hagoromos father.

No. It was stated that Hidan's immortality is not from Jashin, but from a forbidden jutsu the cult created specifically so they could worship him without dying.

Yeah. Just like Hagoromo, Nagato, and Madara.

Oh wait...
Madara died when his powers were taken from him, not when he was a JuubiJin.

Obito isn't event he real owner of a Rinnegan so idk why you use him as an example

And did you forget Hagoromo appearing in the War Arc smh, as I said Sasuke isn't biologically immortal but spirtually he is, Hagoromo had control over his own soul, he didn't need to be summoned to communicate with Naruto and Sasuke, he was watching the Earth all along

1. I was talking about Madara's first death.
2. I didn't even mention Obito.
3. Hagoromo still died just like any other human. In fact, had he been able to keep himself from dying, he wouldn't have had to split the bijuu, and there would be no reason to fear Kaguya's return. PLUS the fact that he couldn't actually return to the impure world without the chakras of Indra, Ashura and the Kyuubi being combined.

But this isn't at all the point of this thread, so I will no longer comment on it.

Kakuzo said there is no such thing as immortality in this world. So maybe he knew something about hidan we didnt.

Although yes Sasuke could maybe find a way. Or maybe not lol. Rikudou Sennin didnt even live forever.

When you actually think about it, in the Narutoverse there are many ways to become immortal.

Kakuzo said there is no such thing as immortality in this world. So maybe he knew something about hidan we didnt.

Orochimaru is immortal, right?

Sasori wasn't really immortal. He just had a puppet for a body.

Hidan was only immortal as long as he killed or just immortal?

Along with Sakura's restorive techniques, most defiantly.

Yeah he died because his body isn't what's immortal which I have stated, immortality is ambiguous and can be represented in different ways. Orochimaru was mortal but made himself immortal by having the ability to use the transmigration jutsu, he can be killed but as long as he uses that jutsu he can stay alive

Likewise, if Sasuke uses transmigration jutsu like Orochimaru or Izanagi like Danzo he can prevent himself from remaining dead. The Rinnegan has already been stated to grant the user power over life and death. Nagato died after using Rinne Tensei because he wasn't the original owner of the Rinnegan and was out of stamina and chakra from overusing the dojutsu
