Sasuke wants to do this himself. Killing the Kages represents part if destroying the current system. Destroying and rebuilding it is something he wants to do with his own power.

But, y risk gaining the animosity of the nations. If he would have just told Oro to let them die then Sasuke would have dealt with them quietly with 0 crime that could be traced back to him. The only fight I think that matters to Sasuke is Naruto

Because that is not his character. These are things he trusts with no one but himself. His brother suffered because of this system, he suffered. Sasuke because of these experiences wants to be the one to change them.

So why did he let them live so they can die?

Because he wants to do it himself.

Maybe he could have lied, and what he really wants is fight against Naruto, if Naruto wins, he will leave his "revolution"

So in your opinion u think Sasuke let the Kages live for the sake of his ego?

It's not ego. The system has failed him, his family and the world. And he wants to be the one to correct it because of that.

Sasuke has no intention of killing the five Kages. If he had that intention at all why would he have sent Orochimaru to revive them? If Sasuke really wanted the Kages dead then he could have just left them to die on their own after a Madara finished with them, but instead Sasuke sent Orochimaru there to help them. Tbh, they haven't really contributed that much since returning, so something doesn't add up:nuts:

You are confusing two different groups of Kage. The Kage that Sasuke had Oro revive were the previous Hokage of the Village. Those Hokage were revived for the purpose of information only. It was only due to Sasuke's decision to end the war and kill off the CURRENT 5 Kage, that he, Oro, and the PREVIOUS 4 Hokage arrived on the battlefield in support of the SA. Also, as we have just seen in the previous chapter, the Kage that Oro revived are already gone. Sauce intends to kill the current Kages. Hope this clears up some confusion.

If u look here u will see that everyone knew even the Edo Kage that Oro went to help the Goukage. And my point was that Sasuke never told Orochimaru not to help them. They would have been at his mercy then

Take into account as well that at that time he also hadn't completely decided on what he wanted to do as their were bigger enemies to take down first.

"The enemy of my enemy is my friend." so to speak. After his talk with Hagoromo is when I think he made up his mind that a revolution was necessary and that the current kage had to go.

No, I am saying that it doesn't make sense that Sasuke let Orochimaru go heal the Goukage.

It seems that he had this plan all along. He has been blaming the Kages from the start

One parts ego and one parts necessity. Don't forget. Madara and Obito were still very much in power during this period. That's like saying why didn't he take out Naruto when he was distracted with the fighting. Naruto also stands in the way of his revolution.

The answer is he needed all the help he could get to take down Obito, then madara, then Kaguya. He said it himself, now that all other obsticles were out of the way he could begin his revolution. Which includes killing the current kage. He didn't kill them out of convenience of thier aid to end the war. nothing less nothing more.

Maybe he could have lied, and what he really wants is fight against Naruto, if Naruto wins, he will leave his "revolution"

This is true. He could be just trying to goad Naruto into a fight...but I doubt that was the reason. I think Sasuke believes what he is doing is the right path.

I must have misunderstood. But in response, Sasuke was busy heading to the battlefield. Oro had snuck away to heal the Gokage. If you look back, Oro said nothing to Sasuke about his intentions. He just did it

I already posted a link for the scan that even hiruzen knew what Orochimaru was doing. Seeing how the Edo Hokage left before Sasuke I doubt that they would knew and Sasuke wouldn't

I really am having problems thinking that Sasuke would hold the Hokage's aid so highly, especially when he is already bringing the Edo Hokage.

Anyway, it seems like that Sasuke letting the Hokage live just to kill them later would cause much more harm than good. I mean if this was a vendetta thing then that would be fine, but it seems Sasuke is just killing them out of necessity instead of hatred

I do see what you are trying to point out. Sasuke does many things that just seem pointless. This recent decision included. Take what I posted with a grain of salt as it is just my understanding in what I believe is his reason for letting them live only to kill them later. I am trying to use ABC logic which doesn't always apply in the NV as we've seen time and time again.
