Secondly, even if it is, what could it do to the Beasts inside Naruto. . . nothing. . . Genjutsu only affects the Jinchūriki, not the Beast too. . . and Naruto has nine of them. . . :erm:

So did madara's normal sharingan. Listen, the reason it can affect the tailed beasts on their own, but not Naruto, is that they have separate consciousnesses. They can realize the Naruto is under a genjutsu and send out a chakra charge to disturb and break the trance.
The tailed beasts don't have separated consciousnesses inside of themselves.
