Remember his reasoning about the Revolution BS? At that time, he felt that that would be the way to achieve Peace by concentrating the hate onto himself.
And in the current chapter where he is not able to even lift his finger and witnessing that no matter how hard he try to kill Naruto, Naruto won't give up on him, he redefined Revolution with his death.

It's exactly how Kishi said, Sasuke's character is neither evil nor good, in a true sense, he's just pure and do things which he thinks is right and with that perspective he can be either good or bad.
In the end, Sasuke got a different way to see towards achieving Peace but only after his death.
