If he was good before the kage summit arc , he would not have left the leaf for power. He did fight along taka side . But left jugo and suigetsu at the summit. And almost killed karin to get danzo . like i said in thread he never cared for team 7 or taka enough to let them get in the way of his goals!!!

he Abandon Taka at Kage Summit not before it...Sasuke was a good guy in part1 factual have you not watched/Read part 1 of Naruto? yes he was an Anti-hero different from everyone else but he did care for Team 7 and in Shippuden he cared About Taka just as much he protected Taka in the Killer Bee Fight at the Summit he then went evil and the stab through Karin represents that...but now he is changing yet again he is becoming like how he was at the start of the shippuden...Sasuke has Suigetsu and Jugo now to help fill his solitude again and as soon as Karin returns to Taka he will change drastically.. and Finally when he meets Naruto again he will be Fully good again.. this progress takes time and those two Uzumaki's are Key only Naruto and Karin actually made Sasuke smile

His anger with Naruto happened after he got the Curse mark. Before he had already acknowledged that Naruto had gotten stronger - showed by him expressing his wish to fight him. Kakashi managed to surpress the seal for a while but it obviously didn't work.

Like I said, the seal made him rekindle his hatred. If he hadn't been given the curse mark, he wouldn't have reacted that strongly to seeing Naruto getting stronger. Before the curse mark, he and Naruto were constantly competing with each other in a friendly way - they strived to be better than the other and then Sasuke never got pissed off.
But when he got the curse mark, his hatred was rekindled and it made him overall angry.

Is everything he says here meaningless? He definitely was a good guy in part one, he even mentions, (can't find the chapter) that he thought about going down the same path as team 7. He was a good guy and will end up being a good guy. Kishi has quite obviously left the door open for his redemption.

But obviously that was as long as they didnt interfere with his goal !! face palm . when jugo and suigetsu got caught under rubble sasuke left them , even though karin asked him about them. when karin got captured by danzo he almost killed her . so once again team 7 or taka were never more imporrtant than his goals . oro said he is different because he cant be manipulated anymore . He said meeting edo -itachi made him hate the leaf more . you just want him to turn good . Btw sasuke is one of my favorite characters.

Yes, Sasuke was a bit stronger than Naruto then, but he had already practically caught up to him. That's why Sasuke mentioned he would like to fight with Naruto - if he hadn't been convinced of Naruto's progress, he wouldn't have bothered saying that.
Uchihas don't bother with weak people and don't pay them any special mind. That's why Naruto was so happy when Sasuke told him that; it was basically Sasuke saying he considered Naruto good enough as a real rival to fight and that he considered him strong enough to be a worthy opponent.
