Just a moment ago you and someone else said that Ashura had rikudou chakra and rikudou senjutsu while Indra only had rikudou chakra. So this wouldn't make sense.

Actually both Naruto and Sasuke got Rikudou Senjutsu (seen by Sasuke touching TSBs), it's just Naruto's amount of Senjutsu was made to turn to RSM as Hagoromo split his power (not his chakra) between them. They were given nothing different, there is no distinction, they both received the same chakra's, it's merely the way their powers formed that was different (thanks to Hagoromo).

It's complicated, Indra's Rikudou chakra has the same potency as Ashura's Six Path Senjutsu but they're completely different, RIkudou chakra is diluted SPS but because of Indra's genes it had the same potency.

Six Path Senjutsu is actually Juubi chakra which is basically the combination of NE with the chakra of 9 bijuu. Hagoromo had SPS before becoming the JuubiJin because he inherited his mother's chakra and his mother is the Juubi.

Ashura had SPS without being the Juubi's Jinchuuriki because he inherited some of the Juubi's chakra due to inheriting the Sage's body.

Him using BM proves he had bijuu/Juubi chakra. The difference is that he had to train his body for it to bloom, most likely learn to absorb NE like Naruto and Hashirama.

Furthermore, when Madara was using Hashi's SM he didn't awaken Six Path Senjutsu despite having Rikudou chakra and Hashirama's body, it further suggests Juubi's chakra is required for it to bloom.

Without the 9 bijuu Naruto would have had Rikudou chakra like Sasuke but neither of Hagoromo's powers. Combining SM with the chakra of 9 bijuu is the same as having Juubi chakra hence why he unlocked it without becoming the Juubi's Jinchuuriki.

Think of RSM as being the progression of BSM like the Rinnegan being a progression of Mangekyo, Sasuke can definitely learn high level SM but without the Juubi or the combination of SM with 9 bijuus he can't awaken SPS like Naruto.

I wonder he Sasuke's left eye will turn into a rinnegan eventually like Madara's eyes did after implementing Hashirama's cells.

I think the only way for him to unlock another dojutsu is for him to gain the Shinju's power like Madara. His Rinnegan didn't fully evolve into a RinneSharingan and the tree is required to unlock it's powers.

Both his eyes already give him a total of 9 tomoe like Kaguya's dojutsu, so maybe his right eye could turn into a Rinnegan with 3 tomoe if he gains her level of power.

Sasuke didn't receive Yang on par with Ashura's complete power, he only received a bit of Hagoromo's chakra (mostly Yin) and a tiny portion of Hashirama cells. Sasuke has no Mokuton feats, so there's no way his Hashi cells are that powerful.

Sasuke's Yin Chakra > Ashura's Yang Chakra, IMO. I think Sasuke/Naruto surpassed Indra/Ashura.

No, as I said yesterday, they both have Hagoromo's chakra but in different forms. Indra's chakra is diluted SPS but because of his genes it still has the same potency as RSM chakra.

Ashura required NE to unlock SPS but Indra's genes gave him chakra of the same potency hence why he didn't need NE, it's the same with their descendants, EMS Sasuke doesn't need SM or BM to match BSM Naruto due to his chakra genes.

And the Sage conceived his children when he was the Juubi's Jinchuuriki. Because his chakra was fused with the Juubi's, his children would have inherited some of its traits along with his own, it's why Uzumaki have chakra chains like the Gedo and why Hashirama was able to use the Juubi's KKG.

Indra and Ashura both inherited traits from the Juubi, Ashura inherited a little Juubi chakra hence why he could use Bijuu Mode and TSB, in contrast Indra inherited a dojutsu that comes from the Juubi.

And this doesn't mean Ashura was superior, Indra's brains combined with DMS powered by Rikudou chakra would have easily matched RSM since we've seen how strong Mangekyo techniques are.

Wasn't it thanks to Hashirama's cell's that Danzo was able to handle 10 sharingan eyes? I think it's a known fact that Hashirama's cell's increases your stamina/chakra reserves.
