So ... the only defense the diehards have in denial is Madara's statement? Hate to burst your bubbles, but the Sage's statements hold far more weight. Not to mention Kaguya's imagery. Madara has never seen that. How would he know?

Madara is clearly in denial here, it obviously looks different from a mere rinnegan, and Madara's opinion is subjective and not objective.

Logic and common sense dictates that juubis eye is superior to all other forms of occular dojutsu seeing as it is the pinnacle of all wielded by kaguya who rikoudou referred to as the strongest. Dunno y anyone would deny this but am guessing is madara fans hehehe

The Sage himself just two or three chapters ago said that Kaguya's eye was a Sharingan. He stated that she used it to control people's minds, basically the Juubi's eye is the Sharingan.
Go back to the Sage's talk about his mother, the Doujutsu that casts infinite Tsukuyomi is a Sharingan, that's why its called Tskuyomi which is a Sharingan Jutsu.
Kaguya could control people's minds with the Sharingan.

]. Nowhere near he says it was Sharingan and Rinnegan mixture. Since Madara is second acknowledged character, he states its Rinnegan. There is no need to further discuss this.

If people went back just a few chapters ago to the Sage's talk with Naruto, this disagreement wouldn't be happening.
The Sage clearly said that she had a Byakugan and a Sharingan.
I don't get why people want Sasuke to have something else so badly, the Rinnegan is the most powerful Doujutsu in the manga, its quite the step up.
