You might have a point. Sasuke might of realized that Naruto surpassed him awhile back. When Sasuke arrived with Juugo, Suigetsu, and Orochimaru. I believe that's when Sasuke got enraged at the fact that Naruto has grown stronger. I could be wrong. Still i don't think this chapter suggest that much of Sasuke realizing that Naruto is stronger. Moreover, Naruto was successful in saving everyone because of Minato. However, Kishimoto seems to be trying hard to relive the scene of Part I again.
