luffy is a goku ripoff and another sterotypical shounen main character...he doesn't stand out at all

try thinking along the lines of griffith from berserk...or kiritsugu from fate/zero...genius MC's with rich depth.

in all honesty kiritsugu emiya from fate/zero is the best character of all time...**** main characters

I have watched both series. I must admit part 1 Naruto was sweet and edgy. He personified good mc. He started off part 2 slowly. Till the later part of the series where he went to shit. In my honest opinion Natsu >>>>>> Naruto in all aspects.

Natsu has more versitile moves. More better hand to hand combat than Naruto ever did. His character is far more likeable .He is not an annoying dictator going around giving speeches. Plus his creator played with his attire more often. It took Naruto 668 chapters to drop the Jumpsuit. Where as Natsu changed his every arc. It made him feel more fresher.
