Lmfao in part 1 naruto and before i joined this site, i liked sasuke alittle more than naruto too.

Exactly and some think because he's a MC you have to like him. When i joined a lot of people use to be like "how can you dislike the MC" or "Naruto is the MC if he's not your fan you're not a real fan" like tf how do that make sense?

Pretty sure that because Sasuke is Uchiha since the entire plot of the series has been the Uchiha screwing up the world.

Basically Naruto (anime) is heavily focused on Sasuke. That's why he is better written even with "little" screen time.
BTW you don't need screen time to develop characters/story so IDK why you even use that logic.

Sasuke's story is not even that good compared to Itachi's story. His story is better written compared to Naruto since Naruto's story is really nothing. No one really knows who he is except a handful of people, because it's a secret.

That really became a barrier. He is a blank slate. A video game character. The character itself is not interesting by itself but rather how he would interact with others, in this case his goal became Sasuke. This made it that the story became focused on him developing him more as a character more than Naruto. Naruto's development is as bland as someone going to school and learning new things. There is not much life into it. He is this thing that just exist to interact with the world.

That is why Kishi said that Naruto (the anime) would go nowhere without Sasuke.

Think of Skyrim or any RPG, without Alduin or some other entity or crisis, you'll be left alone with side missions and such. You won't really have a story. Just numerous amounts of tedious quests or in this case fillers. Just plenty of fillers. You have a story but it's not really going anywhere.

I use that logic because it is valid logic tf? You can't show a character for a few panels and chapter and expect them to be an amazing character.

hmmm novels and books don't use panels or screentime.

There are other ways of developing character that does not necessarily involve the character being shown. Simply through the use of dialogue or storytelling/narrative from other sources/characters.

For example: Hashi and Madara.

Itachi was kind of like that too and he turned out amazing in establishing Sasuke as a character.
so no sir, it is not necessarily valid. If you think a character must be shown an ample amount of time in order to be relevant, then you're an ass at judging things.

But the point of the matter is really the main reason why Sasuke > Naruto as far as character development goes, Sasuke is Naruto's (anime) driving force. He is the main thing that moves the story forward, sure there are others but he has the most impact as he is Naruto's (character) goal.

Also saying you couldn't careless about the other stuff just proves the point that you are an ass at judging things. You simply just go for the surface, what is laid in front of you. You don't care as for the reason why.

Someone could make a character suddenly OP without any reason or decent amount of development, like getting a powerup, and sudden was capable of knocking out a goddess and you'd probably just take it as is and start worshipping that character.

Both are equals to me, I used to prefer Sasuke until he became a maniac in the five kage summit arc, and I used to hate both of them in this arc, which btw was the worst arc in Naruto imo
