[Discussion] Sasuke doesn't have real MS

After seeing Sasuke's EMS i had a thought back to when he fought itachi and realised that he never really unlocked it himself. Itachi told him that to unlock it he needed to kill his best friend or i believe it's just someone the uchiha had a close personal connection to. Although itachi died in front of sasuke due to illness and not technicly by sasuke own hand, is this enough to unlock the mangekyou sharigan for real or is sasuke's current MS the way it is because of the techniques itachi transfered to him.
My question is, if sasuke were to hypothetically kill naruto or anyone else close enough to unlock a MS, would his change or is his MS the real deal now. The only reason i bring this up is because sasuke's EMS looks more like one MS on top of another while Madara's EMS kind of merge together.

NOW remember that kakshi unluked the MS because he had so many fallen comrades, not bcause he killed his bff.

I think that sasuke got hisMS in a similar way after watching his ONLY BROTHER DIED IN FRONT OF HIM whether he killed him or not.

you dont necessarily need to kill your best friend. what you need to do is feel the loss of your best friend. finding out that itachi did all that stuff and the truth, that substituted for the loss of a best friend. he legitimitly got MS and EMS

Itachi was greatly injured before fighting sasuke, what he meant is becuse sasuke drained his chackra it was fatser for itachi to die. its in the mnanga.

This page proves that he transferred all of his techniques to Sasuke. The only difference between their MS abilities is boiled down to the difference in their affinities and their unique strengths. Even though he got his abilities transferred, it would make little sense if the techs were exactly the same. While they are the same general techniques, they have Sasuke's own twist to them.

The fact is that while he did get his techs transferred, Sasuke, in no way, has a fake MS. He did not receive it from Itachi, Itachi simply controlled what techs Sasuke would unlock after obtaining MS. It seems that Itachi intended for his death to grant Sasuke MS in time, but not as quickly as he did. The truth is that having learned Itachi's truth accelerated Sasuke's awakening of MS and caused his insatiable need for revenge. Sasuke unlocked it in a very normal way, through extreme distress and of course he onlucked EMS the only way possible.

All: Itachi let sasuke kill him. Their were many times when itachi could have killed sasuke.
Mangekyou: Sasuke did not get mangekyou on his own. Itachi made him eyes become mangekyou whenever he met madara and use amaterasu. Before, he dd not have mangekyou.
Kakashi: He already witnessed death of hisbest friend, obito. Then with the other comrades dying, he got his mangekyou.

sasuke's MS and EMS are legit, just that the powers id say arnt genuinely his, but once madara told him the truth...or at least most of it, it became clear that sasuke unlocked the MS due to that emotion that is needed to do so, itachi wanted to do that for him, its confirmed that he had a plan for sasuke when he met up with naruto & KB

true...a defeat is a defeat...but we all know his win was staged lol and we know that at that time, itachi couldve easily defeated sasuke, but the staged win still goes to sasuke

yea man, sasuke's MS powers are transferred from itachi...looks like itachi wanted his bro to be powerful, and madara confirms this as he explains the whole situation to sasuke after the battle, he literally says, itachi transferred his power into you, and he wasnt just talking about the amaterasu trap

not really, what itachi wanted was for sasuke to take his eyes and gain the ems, that way, when he met up with naruto, (itachi knew their meeting was inevitable) shisui's jutsu would take effect if sasuke had the ems, and sasuke would defend konaha, u know? go back to the good side...but if he planned this..that means he may have knew that madara would inevitably find him as well...despite the amaterasu trap..

Itachi was hoping that Madara did not know the truth. But if he did, Itachi planned to utilize Amaterasu to silence him. If he did know the truth and Itachi did nothing at all to stop him, than something similar would have happened anyway. The main difference is that by doing what he did, Itachi gave himself a chance to stop Madara in his tracks. It seems strange, however, that Itachi knew so much about Madara without knowing about his space-time techs.

hmmm I new that when sasuke met madara, itachi's amaterasu was activated but the main problem is that it's not quite clear how to unlock the mangekyou sharigan as people seem to be doing it differently.
Also im confused with how sasuke got EMS, they are itachi's eyes he had transplanted right, if so how come itachi has his eyes and even nagato in the current manga if they had them taken

Well yes, but he setup a triple fail-safe so that he would utilize this power to protect Konoha, not destroy it.

1. Allowing himself to be deemed a villain so that Sasuke would feel he was a hero for defeating him.

2. Implanted Amaterasu, along with his other techs, into sasuke to activate if he made eye contact with Madara's sharingan.

3. Gave Naruto Shisui's eye in order to permanetly implant Sasuke with a 'Protect Konoha' Genjutsu if, in-fact, he went against his wishes and tried to use his EMS on Naruto.

From all this planning, Itachi was certain that he would use his power for good. And in addition, Itachi was kind of selfish in the whole matter....He wanted to make his brother extremely strong because he felt bad about having to kill his clan.
