this may not explain it very well but watch that episode tobi says that he confirmed that he could use gen on danzo with the first one that shows itachi regardless of how long it was he knew he could do it so he used it again to make him think the eye was still open

You can see in tobi's speech he includes the entire itachi amaterasu flashback... It was 1 genjutsu... the amaterasuing was meant to do nothing... he made danzo think an eye was open..There was no 2nd genjutsu ... anime = non canon

Tsukiyomi is a weak genjutzu that does not last long. Commonly used by Uchihas. Itachi's Tsukiyomi however, was in a sense, overpowered due to the much longer duration. Different MS have different buffs of a specific genjutzu, you should know that from watching the series.

dude the first quote from the first page "it was a weak genjutsu that doesn't last long" how could it have been one if it didn't last that long? it was 2 different genjutsus, and wtf anime not canon? each anime episode is exactly the same as a certain manga chapter aside from fillers
