[Discussion] Sasuke deserves power from the sage as well

I read quite a bit on the base about Sasuke not deserving the sage's blessing so to speak.
That he doesnt deserve a power up from the sage.

I think he does deserve it.

Sasuke is following a different path than the previous people who had a transmigration of Indra inside them.
He is surpassing them. Just as Naruto is surpassing the previous people who had a transmigration of Ashura inside them.

Hashirama didnt befriend the bijous. He controlled them and shared them to keep balance among the villages, but
he didnt befriend them or treated them as peers. He basically continued the cycle of hatred by attempting to kill Madara
in their battle and believing he had killed him.

Madara however cheated death.
Madara continued the cycle of hatred as well with trying to kill Hashirama and not wanting to follow the path of working together with Hashirama. Instead he wanted both forces inside himself (Hashi and Madara's power).
He even tryed to gain Kaguya's and Hagoromo's power and wanted to unleash the infinite Tsukuyomi.

Naruto managed to befriend the bijou.
Hashirama didnt manage to do that.

Sasuke managed to follow a different path than
Madara, who continued the cycle of hatred and even tryed to gain Kaguya's and Hagoromo's power.
Sasuke will cooporate with Naruto where Madara didnt with Hashirama.
Naruto doesnt want to fight and kill Sasuke and survive, because of protecting village, whereas Hashirama, would kill anyone to protect the village as Hashirama himself said (breeding hatred by doing so).
Naruto can connect people so they can understand each other, as we have seen with his chakra sharing ability which is like ninshu.

Naruto and Sasuke both deserve their power ups for different reasons.
Even though the sage prefers the hardworking route of friendship and love that Ashura chose, over the lonely path that Indra followed, that was about power, that doesnt have to mean that he shouldnt give Indra anything.
Besides, we dont know what Sasuke said for sure.
Maybe he said something along the lines of wanting to protect friendship as well.

Either way, Sasuke deserves to get something too.

The main reason for giving Sasuke power from the sage is not only because of correcting a past mistake
of leaving it all to Ashura. It is because Sasuke is different from the previous chosen ones that Indra's transmigration picked as a host. Because he surpassed them.

To be honest, I think they both do not deserve it, and should be dead already.
But since its the type of manga wich will not end realistically ( "good"does'nt always win ), its somewhat of an asspull.
So, if one of them deserves it, so does the other.

Almost every Shinobi has killed other shinobi for their village on missions and during war.
People seem to forget that. Sasuke isnt the only one. There are almost no shinobi who havent killed others.

You have put it more into context now and it does make more sense.
He indeed doesnt look stable at all in that scan and in a few others, I have no problem admitting that.

You do have to realize that he is also the kid who saw his parents get murdered by his brother in front of his eyes.
Who was told that his brother killed the clan. Who was told by this brother to live and take revenge on him.
That is quite extreme and traumatizing. Than after he killed his brother, he was told the truth that Itachi was ordered
by konoha to wipe out the clan as a mission. The brother that he still loved.
Having some unstable moments isnt weird really.

Sasuke is also the person who sacraficed himself vs Haku to protect Naruto.
The guy who wanted to hear the hokages before he made his decision
on which path to follow. Sasuke is also the person who tries to change his path.
Who stopped the Edo tensei together with Itachi.

Gaara has killed many villagers during the first stages of his unstable life as a kid, yet became a kage and a stable person in the end.

The hatred vanished after that comment and the argueing stopped. They wanted to work together.

Ignore the fapboys. Sasuke is also main character. World got this way because of Ashura-Indra noncooperation through this day. So its only logical that Naruto and Sasuke will cooperate together in equal powers. They're two sides of the same coin.

Why can Gaara for example become Kage after killing villagers, but Sasuke would have to pay forever for his deeds?
There will never come a second chance for him?

So yeah, the kid has been through shit through his life. I just stated that Sasuke is a psychopath and a mass murderer, which is factually pretty correct. If I were to go through all these details about his backstory, we could definitely debate some of these points, but I made a statement, and you making excuses for him simply proves my point.

Sasuke is not a psychopath. You must not understand the definition of the term. If he were, he would not have the capacity to love anyone, this idea is completely absurd. And Sasuke has only ever killed in self defense or for justice. A psychopath wouldn't give a shit about that.
