Sasuke Deserves Itachi's Eyes?

I don't question the fact that Sasuke is a very formidable individual but he just seems so fickle to me. He changed his mind about Itachi so quickly and is now doing the opposite of what his suddenly beloved brother wanted so for me it's a "No" he does not deserve Itachi's eyes.

Sasuke definitely deserves Itachi's eyes since Itachi is the one who has awaken sasuke's MS. Sasuke was never eager to get them in the first place. Since the MS was given to him by his brother and Sasuke eventually need Itachi's eyes whether he likes it or not.
On the other i never wanted either of them to die. It's sad that Itachi died and most importantly they were brothers. MS is indeed a curse and an evil power!! No wonder Uchihas are cursed!

Well, yes. He is powerful. Naruto can stand up to him. But the reason I voted "no" isn't in regards to his strength in comparison to Itachi, but his character and his choices in comparison to Itachi's. If you like Sasuke, that's fine; If you think he's powerful and a genious, you're right; but when I voted, I voted on whether or not he "Deserves Itachi's Eyes" not if he can "Handle Itachi's Eyes."

Thanks. Alot of people who respond to another's post without saying "yes" or "I agree with you" usually retaliate thinking it's an argument or something. That's the same problem me and a few guys had with another member yesterday on another thread. The one think I find the most inconveniant on a thread is you can't really give your tone of voice or attitude.

Well hello everyone. Let me first point out that i am not a Sasuke hater or Itachi fanboy >.<.

Now the question here is: Does Sasuke Deserve Itachi's Eyes?

Say yes or no and please explain why.

My answer is no. Because Sasuke cannot be compared in any possible way to Itachi, neither in Genjutsu or speed or anything at all. He needs Karin to recover him, Juugo to fight with him and Suigetsu. I mean cmon, if it wasn't for them Sasuke already would be dead when he fought against Killer B and not to mention basically everyone else.

He needed the help of madara and karin in order to defeat Danzo.

No comparation needed for me, Sasuke does NOT DESERVE itachi's eyes, hell in my own opinion he doesnt even deserve to be a UCHIHA.

Itachi planned to give Sasuke his eye anyway. Just because Killer B almost kill him does not mean he doesnt deserve it. Give better reasons.

You know I can never understand people who think like this.

Sasuke is 16/17 years old, he's basically a kid. What you actually think he can take on 35-50 year old respected, revered veterans who've fought in shinobi wars without difficulty.

We never followed Itachi's story this closely, heck we don't even really know who he's fought. We don't know the circumstances of his battle with Shisui - heck Shisui's may have been weak, he may have had 10% chakra remaining and that's how Itachi beat him. What's impressive is that a 14 year old could beat one of the Uchiha's best.

The reason why Sasuke is known and revered for his strength, is because he's a kid who's been able to take down a sannin, S-rank criminals, a kage at age 16.

He's a genius like it or not and he's frickin powerful. Warranting praise from Bee, Orochimaru, Kakashi, even Madara who thought he could take on all 5 kage

Yes Sasuke would have died here and there, everywhere. Why? Because he's kid.
Who else can match these feats? Probably only Naruto.

there is just so many reasons that he doesn't deserve the EMS but mostly its because he choose to be a traitor. The eyes technically belong to Konoha, and now that he has deserted his village he has no right to them. We all know that itachi wanted sasuke to return to the village after his death, so im sure he wouldnt want him using his powers to destroy Konoha making his sacrifice a complete waste.

Well it's not really fair to say "Sasuke's a cheat, he didn't really win" about each one of his battles when he won fair and square (I don't think any of his opponents would say no he cheated, excl Itachi). And when has Sasuke lost? I said Sasuke had much difficulty, read my sentence again I think you misunderstood.

I don't know but I'm pretty sure others agree with me and understand what I am saying.

Here's the truth, I like Sasuke he's one of my fav characters so I'll always be partial to him. You may not like Sasuke, you don't like him, so regardless of what I say even if it is sensible you'll dispute it, why? Because you don't like Sasuke and it's difficult for you to be objective.

Just as it's difficult for me to sit idly by and watch people insult or belittle Sasuke with ignorant remarks
