Sasuke was not in the vicinity of where the fight was taking place. Remember Madara flew from that area to go get his eye and the other half of Kyuubi from Obito. leaving Sasuke behind.

Sasuke has always been faster than Naruto. I don't think that has changed either.

You know damn well Sasuke stopped being faster around the time Naruto got Sage Mode, let alone Bijuu Mode. This coming from a guy that likes both characters.
