Sasuke can't deactivate his eye yet

Sasuke eye can't be deactivated due to it being new to him and possibly due to it being an implant.

The manga shows that those who gain EYE Prowess through means other than unlocking it fully themselves can't deactivate the eye.

Example:

Nagato (Rinnegan)
Danzo (Sharingan)
Kakashi (Sharingan)
Ao (Byakkagan)


Sasuke just got the eye and is learning how to properly use it and control it so until he does that he can't deactivate it and must close his eye

Sasuke could deactivate his EMS and he didnt get THAT himself, so i think your wrong.

I read a theory a few weeks ago about some of the tomoe going away after he uses it powers, I kinda just though he was restoring his powers by closing his eye. I guess what you said makes sense too tho.

It's still "His" or "Itachi's" eye. The SO6P helped Sasuke "unlock" it. It isn't like he got a new eye such as:
Nagato (Rinnegan)
Danzo (Sharingan)
Kakashi (Sharingan)
Ao (Byakkagan)

Madara was not revived with Rinnegan activated thus proving it can be deactivated. Also why would he deactivate it when he has more chakra than anything?

There were times when Sasuke and Itachi closed eyes, like after using their eyes to perform certain attacks. They closed the eye after using amaterasu. They were also capable of deactivating the eye. Closing the eye is not a sign that the eye is not deactivatable or that it was unlocked before implantation.

Sasuke could have unlocked it and it could fully be his own rinnegan. The Sage gave them some of his power, the same means that Madara used that caused his rinnegan mutation, Sasuke now has some of the Sage's chakra in him so he also got the mutation. Since Sasuke only got the mutation on one side, I wonder if the Sage gave his chakra to only Naruto's right side and Sasuke's left side. This means that if Madara chops off Naruto's right arm or hand will he lose the power the Sage gave him?
