Sasuke being sasuke, at least sakura landed a hit on kaguya unlike him. She proved to be almost as instrumental to kaguya's defeat as him and naruto

Those are examples of Sasuke being a savage. Sasuke being the arrogant man he is showed his true colors with that statement.

The last one is Kishi speaking through Sasuke to emphasize a point.

None of them, since soon after (or later) Kishimoto added events that went against those statements. Just goes to show the author was trolling and proving Sasuke's negativity wrong. That was the point of the finale.

a) He ends up getting saved by Sakura/Obito from that dimension.

b) Kakashi was praised for his planning skills by Hagoromo himself and had a better Susano'o than Sasuke (albeit just for a few moments) that Kishimoto made a point of praising through Naruto ("It's cooler than Sasuke's!"). Kishimoto also made a point of having everything fail when Sasuke took over and even wrote the character saying "Nothing I try works" along with him having to get saved by Sakura/Obito.

c) Hypocritical since right after the fight concludes, Sasuke can't stop rambling on about his loneliness and how Naruto/Team 7 completes him.

The last statement Sasuke is merely against Naruto and everything he stands for. He knows that Naruto used to be lonely like him but isnt anymore. He refuses to truly accept this & acknowlegde Naruto's development & character, and keeps addressing Naruto as if their fight is just like their first and would have the same outcome.

Then when he loses he shows his true feelings that he's been fighting against. They've been liberated by his acceptance of Naruto's path. He finds peace in his friend and realizes he isnt really alone.

this begs the question, would sasuke have stayed had naruto defeated him at VOTE1?
