Naruto is not a philosopher nor was he philosophically driven - or even intelligent - to give speeches that could/would move people into altering their plans wrought by years of suffering at the hands of Konohan government. Even the thought is hilarious. Were you moved by it? I had tears in my eyes because of the guffaws I was belching out. It (Speech) was that stupid.

I like Sasuke, he's a good character and most people hate him because they're Naruto fans. But like I like both Naruto & Sasuke so like yeah I agree. But the whole revenge thing gets tiring, very tiring. Which is why I was happy to see Sasuke actually look for answers instead of blindy going for revenge.

I think Itachi is a better character than Sasuke still. I was actually gonna mention that Sasuke was one of the most dynamic characters in the series yesterday...The reason I don't like him is that even after barely escaping from Deidara, getting basically killed twice by Bee, almost being killed by A, the Mizukage, Onoki, even Danzo, and being given a victory against Itachi, he's still SO cocky. Even in part 1 after getting beaten up by Gaara and then watching Naruto beat him he still thought he was better than Naruto....If he could actually definitively win against a strong character, then I would maybe understand the cockiness. But he basically almost dies in every fight he's in. The only person who he seems to think of as superior to himself is Itachi (maybe Orochimaru)

I am sorry, I respect your opinion, but I dislike Sasuke not because of those reasons you listed but because of his comment that no one understands his pain. That is just offensive to people who have also suffered loss in my opinion and that is the reason for my dislike. (And his arrogance as well).

But I respect your thread and opinion as well and understand why you like Sasuke's character.

Also I am sure this is just a miswording but your thread makes it sound like the only reason people like Naruto is because he is the main character, I would recomend rewording that part because many people like him for other reasons as well.

Itachi had to follow the orders by the 3rd Hokage.
Sasuke has been suffering a lot after his clan's massacre.
Naruto didn't experience the pain as Sasuke did.
Even Naruto said before the big toad that he wasn't the same level of Sasuke because of his eyes.

I wasn't talking about Naruto you fanboy. There are many people who suffer all the time, many far worse then Sasuke. His statement that no one understands how he feels thing is just plain arrogant and insulting.

And even with Naruto, you just don't go around saying that if the people they loved died then they would understand, it shows just how absolutly self centered and selfish Sasuke is.

An in-manga example of a character (I presume that was what you're talking about with the "There are many people who suffer all the time" comment, if not, by apologies) who suffered at least as much as Sasuke is Kimimaro. Yet, unlike Sasuke, Kimimaro at least developed a purpose for himself.

Now, about Sasuke, I find him neutrally interesting, neither hating him nor loving him.
