Sasuke as a character

Stopped caring about Sasuke a while ago, Kishi's **** tease of every now and then putting in one Sasuke page annoyed the hell out of me.

Eagerly awaiting the chapter when Naruto kicks his ass.

Kind of like the reasons people dislike Sasuke, assuming that Naruto will beat Sasuke that easily is illogical in a literary sense. Kishimoto will not make their fight that simple or anticlimactic

It's obvious that most people loathe Sasuke, reason being he's one of the best characters in all of anime and they're jealous of that he's better than their fav character

Sasuke is overall the best character in Naruto. He has actual growth and regression, just like any normal person. Naruto is a plain one-dimensional character. Yeah Naruto may have unwavering feelings but that just serves as a reminder that there's nothing special about him. Sasuke's progression is a three-dimensional character that has suffered through hate, had his whole clan decimated, abandoned by the one he loves, constantly being used, etc... He's just trying to find his place in the world, much like all of us.

Everything is does is determined by a sequential incidents created because of 'cause and effect' chain. He reacts accordingly and in a very human manner. Only Nagato before he unrealistically gave in to Naruto's moronic speech of hope bridges even comes close. Anyone who hates this character doesn't know a thing about realism. Read into it. It will do everyone a whole lot of good.

I don't hate Sasuke, I mean sure he is a jerk and really smug at times, but he's not necessarily a bad character or anything like that. Hell some of my favorite characters get on my nerves at times. It's just a story. I think people should realize that and settle down a bit. All this arguing is crazy!

Personally, I don't hate any fictional characters in any series (yea, people need to settle down). But, I might, have a theory on why people hate Sasuke so much. Compare him for example to Orochimaru. Classic bad guy, but doesn't have no where near the same level of hated as Sasuke. Reason? Could be that a lot of people here know a Sasuke like character in their lives. You know the type...self centered, brooding, emo'ish, and too cool for school mentality. He simply embodies what most people have grown to hate; lashed out against maybe out of jealousy (HE GETS ALL THE GIRLS, BUT HE'S SO UNGRATEFUL), or because of personal bad experiences with someone who displayed one of the "Sasuke" traits.
And what of Orochimaru? Hell, he's such a zany, over the top bad guy (in a good way), that most admire his whimsical evilness, while Sasuke..he just seems to real.

When Naruto and Sasuke were fighting when they were like 12 or something.
Kakashi tied him up and changed Sasuke's mind.
But the Sound 4 poisoned his mind.
This is how his hatred started in a manner.

sasuke is not bad ass, thats why i don't like him (a HUGE requirement to be a sick villain) and i don't even like naruto that much (too naive). the way i see it, sasuke is just a kid that got manipulated and he doesn't make sense some times ..... but once kishi explained how the uchiha are a clan that runs on emotion (unstable) it explained a lot to be honest. so sasuke is supposed to be a villain (kind of) BUT to me he is nothing compared to the true BAD ASS villains of this series.
