Heh, don't see why there are so many disagreements here, it was very clear what you were trying to say UnbiasedOne.

Sasuke is more of an assassin type character mentality, thus most of his abilities and attacks, are directly pinpoint kill moves. Chidori is always a kill-intended move.

Naruto has less of this and is more like the typical good guy fighter/warrior character. He doesn't always go for a direct kill unless he gets angry, and even then he still mostly attacks to inhibit someone powerful rather than just eliminate them. Rasengan can kill, but it differs from chidori because Rasengan doesn't always have to be a kill move. It can be used to just stop someone rather, which Naruto opts for instead of killing them nearly every time. It's a good move for him.

Their key moves reflect how they are as a person. Sasuke is always going for the kill when he declares an enemy, he doesn't mess around. Naruto is usually patient with them, but will make a strong showing of ferocity to stop them, but not kill unless he has to use that much force to deal with them.

Chidori is for assassins. Rasengan is for inhibiting, but not killing (although it definitely can). Once again, it works for their Yin/Yang personas. These moves represent how they fight, and on a deeper level represents their characters as well. Looks like a valid level of character analysis to me, don't know why people are giving it grief =D
