If people actually read the OP they'd know I was talking about SICK Itachi vs Sasori. I know full well non-sick itachi would beat Sasori, as he is simply better. Also, for those who continue to use the 'Sasori was beat by Sakura and Chiyo thing,' read the spoiler tags- I clear up that misconception:
#1 Misconception 'Sasori was defeated by Sakura'
This takes the cake by far for the most biased, foolish misconception there is in NF. It is amazing- it requires one to literally ignore the very underrated Chiyo, as if she wasn't even in the battle. Any other 2 nin from Konoha wouldn't do as well as they did (other than Tsunade + ___). Sakura=talented medical nin w/antidote. Chiyo is passed off as an 'old hag' (Tsunade is an old hag too? She doesn't look old so biased fans don't pass her off as weak just because she's old. Sarutobi, Madara, Danzo, Tsunade, etc. are never called 'old hags.' Biased). She's a legendary Kage level puppeteer. No on else had as much knowledge on Sasori as her (which is why the Sand called on her in the 1st place). She knew of Hiruko, knew of the 3rd Kazekage/Iron Sand ability, figured out the heart container being the real Sasori, and last but not least, was the person who taught Sasori the puppet jutsu! Only strong puppeteers can face other Kage-level puppeteers- Sasori had the worse possible match-up against a medic nin trained by Tsunade (w/an antidote) and a Kage level puppeteer that knew him in and out (for the most part/generally).The most obvious thing is this- was Sakura the one who killed Sasori? Wasn't it Chiyo at the end who did that? Didn't she do most of the work that actually resulted in damage to Sasori? Is Sakura a puppeteer- I thought Chiyo used ma and pa puppets to impale sasori- Sakura did? ? I thought Sakura was collapsed on the ground with a poisoned blade through her gut as she yelped in pain. So Sasori defeated Sakura, or Sakura defeated Sasori? Did Sakura grow some Sharingan and copy Chiyo's jutsu, and magically become a puppeteer at the end? Was it one big optical illusion, where it appeared that chiyo killed Sasori, but it was really Sakura? Then why would anyone say Sakura defeated Sasori? An intermission- 99% of nin couldn't defeat Sasori 1 on 1 (yes, for Chiyo/Sakura it was 2 against 1. Mindless puppets don't count, since it was 2 thinking beings vs 1 thinking being). Tsunade wouldn't do exceedingly better against Sasori ALONE then Sakura would- and Sakura would have been killed in the first 15 seconds w/o Chiyo helping her with chakra strings. And poison is not the only thing sasori can do, so it's not like 'if you have an antidote, then you will win.' 99% of nin aren't medic nins w/Sakura's abilities (since she does have abilities). 99% aren't skilled puppeteers that knew Sasori so well. If Sakura could do antidotes/use super strength, then most can't. So the argument of 'if sakura can beat him/do it, then ___ could' is nonsense, since it completely negates Chiyo, and most can't do what Sakura can. The 'Sasori is weak' thing is nonsense- Kishi himself put Sasori in the top 10 strongest fighters in the Naruto universe, for the 1st part of Shippuden. (Note that Jiraiya was #1 I think). But 'Sakura defeated the Kazekage puppet!' Ummm... but that wasn't defeating Sasori (she tricked him- he had no way of knowing that she had an antidote. Even in part 1, Sakura was always intelligent even when not strong in combat). But 'Sakura punched Sasori to pieces.' Ummm... he remade himself and was literally unscathed. But 'sakura threw that sealing device at Sasori.' Ummm... He switched bodies and was again literally unscathed. So no, Sakura didn't defeat Sasori anymore than Naruto defeated Zabuza (for saving Kakashi and turning Zabuza to the light), or anymore than Hinata defeated Pain (for saving Naruto and provoking him into KM, which turned the tide of the battle), or anymore than Lee defeated Kimimorro (for helping Gaara, yet the K man died due to his illness). Sakura helped- that's it.That's why the manga chapter is called CHIYO vs Sasori, not Sakura vs Sasori.
