They square off, then sasori sends his puppets to attack, itach dodges then uses amaterasu on sasori's soul thing and finishes the fight.

i dont think so even though he would be a good opponent for itachi if itachi didnt have MS he could defeat him but sasori is no match for susano and amaterasu

One of the only legitimate way I can see Sasori getting a win here is with poison gas bombs. Itachi's susano'o will protect him from everything else and Itachi has to many attacks that kill in one hit to try to outlast him.
The one big advantage Sasori has is that he probably can't be put into a genjutsu. Genjutsu works by manipulating one of the five senses. All of Sasori's senses are artificial because he is essentially nothing but a heart. His BEST shot would be to pretend he was caught in a genjutsu (I'm guessing Itachi doesn't know that Sasori is actually a puppet) and then attack when Itachi lowers his guard.
Under the majority of scenarios, Itachi probably wins though.

no,that insane genjutsu works on sasori because he has chakra flow and genjutsus are able to disrupts the chakra flow.

the problem here is the nerve system, genjutsu uses the nerve systen to disrupt the chakra flow...... The nerve system would be the way in which genjutsu disrupt the chakra flow and the chakra flow disruption would be the effect.
Yes he can see and think, but he doesn't have the nerve system...... unless sasori implanted a nerve system and magically made it work out of nowhere I doubt genjutsu would work on him..... BUT IT MIGHT WORK ON EDO SASORI, because I think edo sasori was human...
ANYWAYS ITACHI WINS THIS, not thanks to amaterasu and even less through tsukuyomi, but through susanoo

sasori is a puppet. genjutsu is useless. and iron sand counters itachis other attacks. susano'o cant really do much if sasori can stay away from itachi who needs to be motionless in susanoo.

hmm well Itachi would probably win although poison would be very hard for Itachi to deal with and also his stamnia + if he hits sasori with Amateseru he can just change bodies and i dont think any genjustu would would work as hes a dead body but with his high inteligence and Totsuak he would probably win this is Itachi were on about
