So saskue learned that all itachi was trying to do the whole time was to protect the leaf village, and yet he did not care what itachi wanted but instead wanted to take revenge on the village.
Now why would he want to do this? Becasue unlike itachi, saskue is a die hard uchia so to speak, yes he was upset about itachi because danzo and the elders used itachi but if saskue was old enough back in the day when the uchiha where planing the take over of the leaf village i believe he would have cut down itachi in a heart beat for betraying the clan why?
Because above all else all saskue wanted was his fathers approval, this was the main reason saskue wanted to catch up to itachi so bad. and when he got his fathers approval he was told not to follow in his brothers footprints by his father. so this is why he is not doing what itachi wanted him to do, instead he is doing what he thinks his father would want him to do. he does not see his brother as a hero but as someone he loved being used by the leaf village and has taken into his own hands to claim revenge for not only the clan but itachi too.
If saskue and edo itachi meet up on the battle field i believe that even itachi will not be able to talk him out of anything for he is a loyal member of his clan no matter what . This is why i believe saskue will never come back to the light, he will never become good again he will be trying to avenge his clan until he is dead.saskue had inhered the will of mandara uchiha and naruto of the first hokage. I think the real mandara will see this and show saskue how to unlock his full range of powers and entrust his revenge to saskue. Saskue will be the final villain for naruto to defeat after tobi, mandara and kabuto are taken down it will be saskue standing there with all new powers ready to take down naruto so he can finally destroy the leaf village.
