Background Info.
History:
Konohamaru's history is loose, but it's known that he was named by his grandfather after the village. Due to being grandson to such a legendary figure, he was called "Honourable Grandson." Konohamaru didn't like it, he wanted to become better than that. And due to these wants he aspires to become Hokage. In part 1 he commonly tried to sneak attack his grandfather Hiruzen, the Hokage, in order to defeat him and bare the mantle of Hokage. After he met a brother figure, Naruto Uzumaki, he started to learn to get past that and figured out that true training, hard work and discipline to become Hokage.
Konohamaru, in part 1, is not a frequent character. Konohamaru spiraled into a small state of doubt after his grandfather died. This effected him directly for a small while and caused him to not even want to follow Naruto's guidance. Soon after Tsunade was picked as Hokage he thought that she would make everyone forget the great things as grandfather did, but after showing her strength and abilities, he was ok with her bearing the title.
Konohamaru in part 2:
Konohamaru in part 2 is a Genin who believes that he will become the Seventh Hokage. People questioned him who would be the 6th Hokage and he proudly stated Naruto.
When Naruto returned from his training with Ero-Sennin, Konohamaru proudly presented his refined Sexy Jutsu. Naruto seemed to think the technique was childish, but soon after attempted to use his refined version of the technique and was promptly punched out by Sakura.
Exclusive to the anime. Konohamaru and squadmates (with Ebisu) are sent on what is claimed as an A ranked escort mission. This is reminiscent of Naruto's first escort mission.
During the Hidan and Kakuzu arc, Konohamaru is seen crying at his uncle Asuma Sarutobi's funeral. After Hidan and Kakuzu were taken down, Konohamaru shows off that he's learned the Shadow Clone technique and uses a higher level version of the sexy technique. Sexy Jutsu: Girl on Girl Technique. After finishing the technique he got punched by Sakura. After bickering he proceeded to use Sexy Jutsu: Boy on Boy Technique, this revealed Sakura's closet perverted-ness. This always showed that it could be used to distract anyone.
During the Three-Tails arc Konohamaru is seen chilling with Naruto. Is that enough for you bio readers? Because that's basically what happens in that arc. I'm going to go to the next one now.
During the Invasion of Pain arc Konohamaru is seen running around corridors away from the paths of pain. He also plays a role in fighting the Naraka Path. Ebisu is seen fighting this path but is easily defeated. However, before becoming a dead man, Konohamaru throws a Kunai as a distraction but is attacked by the Naraka Path. The Naraka path presumes victory but is tricked by a shadow clone. Konohamaru charges up an actual Rasengan and hits the Naraka Path dead on. However the Naraka Path manages to escape before any more damage is done to it.
During the anime-only Konoha history arc. Neji tells a story about him being captured to the Konohamaru corps.
At the Five Kage Summit arc Konohamaru is asked by Naruto to create a distraction so that Naruto Yamato and Kakashi can escape the village. Naruto and Konohamaru face eachother and use a Sexy Jutsu, which is amplified more by Kakashi's Sharingan. Konohamaru, however, is concerned that he is becoming more far behind Naruto. Naruto however acknowledges that Konohamaru had almost taken down a Path of Pain with Rasengan, and praised him for learning Rasengan faster than he did. He also promised that he would teach Konohamaru an even bigger Rasengan at a different time.
Later that time Konohamaru is seen helping write a "Konoha Hero" newspaper. He attempted to interview Naruto but Naruto says that he has to do it another time and walks past Konohamaru. Konohamaru notes that Naruto is now much different.
