What do you get when you mix purple and green?

I have a feeling that we'll never see these characters in their late teens (if we do it'll be ridiculous, and could end up like some random never ending cycle). But what we will see of them won't be enough to assume that they will surpass the previous generation. If they do then it'll show how NV didn't progress.

I don't think they'll surpass them. Every generation wont surpass the last. No one surpassed the legacy of the First Hokage for a long time just as an example. esp. since they live in peace

Yep, as long as I see the Chuunin exams in the mini series Kishimoto will do, I will be fine, but I know even that won't surpass the first one.
