Thing is both Sarada’s MS abilities and the Jougan’s abilities are unknown as of now, so people can’t really tell which one is gonna be superior.
But I guess it’s gonna be like:
Sarada will be superior in genjutsu taijutsu also IMO
Boruto In kenjutsu and Chakra.
Sarada in terms of destructive attacks.
Etc...
It really depends on how someone can see what route the character will take in the future.

Whether Gai is stronger than Hyugas or not has nothing to do with the Gentle Fist being superior to the Stong Fist, considering Gai utilizes Nunchuks and the freaking Gates in his combat as well. What even are base Gai's feats?
