boruto jougan can see teh ckakra network like teh byakugan
there is already many hints that boruto will eventually fight like a hyuga

boruto would be a BEAST with teh kenjutsu-taijutsu
and if he merged his taijutsu with his Kenjutsu and maybe even put in his wind and lightning release then teh lethal cutting and accuracy would be insane

Thing is both Sarada’s MS abilities and the Jougan’s abilities are unknown as of now, so people can’t really tell which one is gonna be superior.
But I guess it’s gonna be like:
Sarada will be superior in genjutsu taijutsu also IMO
Boruto In kenjutsu and Chakra.
Sarada in terms of destructive attacks.
Etc...
It really depends on how someone can see what route the character will take in the future.

Yeah that's great and all, before I forget my favourite part in Naruto is the one about Hiruzen being the strongest Hokage ever. Gui > any Hyuga fodder before him. I dare to say a not dead full awaken potential neji would still be <Gui.

Whether Gai is stronger than Hyugas or not has nothing to do with the Gentle Fist being superior to the Stong Fist, considering Gai utilizes Nunchuks and the freaking Gates in his combat as well. What even are base Gai's feats?
Anyways, 6th Gate Lee still takes an L from Neji as admitted by himself.
Neji with Gentle Fist > 6th Gate Lee > 5th Gate Lee > 4th Gate Lee > 3rd Gate Lee > 2nd Gate Lee > 1st Gate Lee> Lee with Strong Fist
