It would make Naruto look really bad if he finds time to teach Sarada the Rasengan but can't teach Boruto shit. I'm thinking she doesn't learn it but this series is full of surprises now

Chidori isn't use as much as Rasengan. Naruto has many Rasengan variants, and Sasuke's Chidori variants are more creative,and inventive than Naruto's for the most Part.

Rotation, Power and Compression: using them together represents the highest level of shape transformation. The Rasengan (Spiralling Sphere) is a jutsu created by the Fourth Hokage using said principles: powerful spiralling chakra is compressed in a spheric shape. Said sphere has quite the penetrating capacity, but its real power is revealed when the highly compressed chakra whirlpool is suddenly freed on the enemy's body, resulting in a rotating explosion. The size of the Rasengan is proportional to the chakra used for it.
Naruto (and Jiraiya) did develop a number of variations:
Ōdama Rasengan (Big Ball Rasengan) A Bigass Rasengan. A Rasengan variation where the chakra is compressed to a even higher ratio than in a normal Rasengan: it uses more chakra than a normal Rasengan of the same size, resulting therefore more powerful.
Ōdama Rasentairengan (Big Ball Rasengan Serial Zone Spheres) Shadow Clones + Rasengan except this time they form a line to attack with Rasengans. This really shouldn't have been classified as another technique.

This technique channels a large amount of lightning chakra to the user's hand, such that it becomes visible. The high concentration of electricity produces a sound reminiscent of many birds chirping, hence the name.
