Mirai said even with your sharingan you can't break my genjutsu. Mirai's genjutsu is in a whole other level don't forget her mother. Sarada couldn't break the genjutsu because mirai's was very strong and Sarada has only 1 tomoe.

No plothole here and thank you

The most powerful genjutsu users even comparable to the prowess of uchiha are the yakumo clan. They even had genjutsu user who can destroy everything by converting thier paintings into real life occurrences. That's why the sharingan couldn't see through it. And the fact that it's an immature one as of yet.

Sarada can't break through her genutsu because plot nerfed her to not having the developed chakra to do so, if she could copy the jutsu techs of a ninja swordman nothing below high tier jonin should stop her. At this point authors don't even care about consistency.

Kurama clan's genjutsu are OP as hell, there are ways to blur the sharingan penetrative focus, one of them are concealing the jutsu with chakra(like zabuza did to kakashi) or chameleonizing the jutsu with the surroundings, as in clearly replicating the present situation like konan fooled Tobi's perfect jinchuuriki manipulating level doujutsu prowess.

It's not a matter of consistency. Copying and genjutsu breaking are different; we know kakashi copied A rank difficulty jutsu like rasengan but can he really break out of a 3t sharingan genjutsu with his one eye? Not really. Otherwise he wouldn't be sweating at itachi's eyes that heavy or he would be considered a genjutsu adept like Sasuke which he isn't. Instead kurenai is above him in that field and not only that, asuma was 100% sure, her illusion would wreck the Akatsuki members. Look at this and say it's a inconsistency:

Everything which seems confusing cannot be labeled off as an inconsistency.

What's your problem though? Mirai's mother has Genjutsu skills equal to Itachi and was probably trained by her in that department. Not to mention she is older and has years of experience more compared to Sarada.

Is that really that much of a deal to spam it in several threads?

Granted she was nowhere near his level she was still his genjutsu teacher like Kakashi was to Sasuke in lightning jutsu
So? Why do you always post redundant Information? All I've been saying is that Kurenai is nowhere near Itachi's genjutsu level.

Her being his teacher at some point is irrelevant. Itachi played her like a damn fiddle and called her Genjutsu weak.

Maybe Marai will train Sarada to enhance her Genjutsu feats. I hope so. Sakura should've been taught to improve her genjutsu, but it was wasted by Kishi.

Databook said she was on his level in terms of Genjutsu prowess. I understand it doesn't count the OP techniques and abilities Sharingan grants, but in terms of pure skill and abilities in Genjutsu they are equal, or at least at the same level.

Agreed lol.. Her 1T has demonstrated feats we saw with advanced forms of Sharingan.. There really isn't any other reason she should be unable to break out of a genjutsu other than inconsistency with the eyes abilities on the authors part.

The only reason kurenai's illusion didn't work on itachi was because of him copying it before hand as you can see in that very same panel and using uchiha reflection of his sharingan. In terms of skill, she equalizes itachi. He had the same level of skill as her, that is why he could successfully copy her jutsu, that's also why kakashi can't copy S-rank jutsu, because his skill don't border it.

And that's exactly why I mentioned her, you're quick to discredit her without realizing she taught Itachi genjutsu in the first place. It's like saying Kakashi is irrelevant because Sasuke can use Kirin without realizing kakashi taught him advanced lightning jutsu in the first place.

Itachi's eye power is just at the level that makes Kurenai look weak but she's not at all. Each Akatsuki has the power to kill a Kage, that's just how strong they are.
