Could be because she didn't wanna reveal her true identity and past as a successful shinobi like her dad and there was a war and she was educated by the formerly strongest Kunoichi in legendary history ie.Tsunade, and Tsunade was part of the war and a core element and like Sasuke defeated (almost) a version of Madara and that such an entity lived and that this peaceful era was an "illusion" after the decades of war which happened prior to Sarada being born and Sarada a pure child looming into the dark-history of her faraway uncle forefather (Madara) not to mention the recently occurred war, which happened to culminate in near-death instances in thier strongest forms; being every parent's worst fear and every mothers' nightmare.

Got nothing to do with bad parenting - considering, to Perfect Susano'o was foreign knowledge to her - has she been informed by the basic things like "Who was your godfather?" the questions thereby arising would be like "Where are our relatives" - which was a no-no - which'd arising the culminative probe - "There was war?" Sarada did have a childhood, a good one at that. If she didn’t.. wouldn’t she have not had any good memoirs of her mother or her experience while being a child to draw from when naruto asked her to think of them? Also Sarada is 12! That’s old enough to know how to cook, clean, deliver stuff animals while whipping your ass with your mothers help. Boruto’s entire generation aren't normal children by any standard if you use your brain.. they are all very mature for their ages and have high levels of independence (independent thinkers).

It's Tsunade's loss, Sarada's an awesome kid and would actually be good talking to, since she's very well versed and interested in the Hokage role. I can see a conversation between them going better than the one between her and Boruto where she pretty much casually berates him on his Naruto esque quirks

You guys missed the point of Naruto, they are ninja, they are friends, they don’t feel or forge bonds. Tsuande probably know of Sakura but Japanese and ninja culture isn’t like yours, just because someone trained you don’t mean they are gonna be there while you are raising your child, it’s unrealistic , tsuande relationship with Sakura was a positive version of Sasuke a with orochinaeu
