I don't think that ability stems from his Yang seal. The only thing the seal was good for was for sealing Kaguya. Nothing more nothing less.

Clearly the seal healed pretty much a fact. Everytime he used it the seal appeared on everyone he healed. Yin seal gave Sasuke black Chidori(?) and Naruto that healing power.
