Sannins vs Pain

If pain was so much more powerful why did nagato take so many precautions in the fight with Jman.
He tried to keep his secret from Jman because he knew if jman had found out the Pains would be dead.
Against naruto he did no such thing, He just went in full force. Even with knowledge naruto would of still lost the battle if Pain went for the kill like he did vs jman, just shows how strong Jman actually was

If all 6 paths of pain were present at the start of the fight vs jaraiya he would've been dead b4 he even went into sage mode..Idk vs all but I personally think Nagato could take them because he's stronger fighting himself than with the dead bodies

Jiraiya would have won if it was all 6 at the start
I only saw read that Pain said he "might" have won if he had discovered his secret. I highly doubt Jiraiya could of gone toe to toe with all 6 paths. If he knew the secret I'm sure he would of hightailed it straight to the real body instead.
I think alot of people do misunderstood this lines from pain.. it was a way to "respect" his master. by complementing him. I don't think jiraiya will defeat pain if he knew the secrets.. coz definitely he can't take all six at once.
if you just observe and think, tobi also said this when itachi tried to kill him via amaterasu. tobi complements itachi by saying "if itachi knew my secret I would be dead" or something like that. but do you really believe itachi can kill tobi if he knew it? hell no. konan also knew the secret of tobi but she failed even by setting up that sea of paper bombs.
but in this case pain will fight 3 legendary sannin, specially with tsunade around, they can go all out without worrying too much about being hit or what not..I don't think pain will win. Pain's only chance is if he could successfully trap this sannins within CT.
Hmm idk maybe he could , we didnt know what Itachi's full power when he was healthy and what he could do ,btw coming to this thread and according to my opinion the three sannins are strong and i agree with you that Pain only has a slight chance of winning , So i am going with the sannins
i dont think itachi can kill tobi.. coz if he could, then tobi will be out of the picture before we can see him..remember itachi already knew tobi back when he did the massacre. so I don't see why he did not kill tobi back then if he could.. the only reason why itachi didn't kill tobi is because he can't.. and he even need to set a trap to try and eliminate tobi, but then again he failed.
why does every body think that itachi at his healthy state is stronger than when he is sick..coz even back at part1 itachi was already sick.. and we even don't know when he got his spirit weapons.. it could be that he just got his powers just recently when he is already sick and dying. worst case is a healthy itachi may have not yet mastered his MS techniques or don't yet have the totsuka sword and yata mirror.
