Sannins vs Pain

We know Jiraya killed 3 of these pains in Sage mode using Genjutsu... But if the 3 Sannins were still alive (together) and met up against Pain... Would it be too much for PAin? or a even battle?

Thought so... Naruto didnt defeat all the pains by himself... he used a lot of help... Like Jiraya.. he used MA and PA to defeat 3 of them...

and naruto didn't really 'defeat' pain. pain had naruto pinned down and at that point it should've been over if pain wasn't trying to capture naruto.

I wouldnt take those words seriously. We have already seen skills of both of them, and its clear that Pain was waaaaay more powerful than Jiraiya.

Woah..... Someone has overrated Pain a little eh ? "waaaaay more powerful" do you seriously believe that ? If that was the case im sure their battle would have been alot shorter than what it was, plus he took out two paths of pain.

Its really obvious to me. Pain was fu**ing war machine, that could own village by hiself. With three bodies (without the strongest one) he was able to push Jiraiya in HM to his limits. True, Jiraiya maneged to trap them in illusion, but battleground was huge advantage to him, he had many places he could hide. If battle took place on more neutral ground, he could not have been so lucky. Also Deva path by hiself was powerful enough to own Naruto in SM and all frogs within... one chapter? Lets be honest: if Jiraiya fought all six paths from the very beginning of battle he would be owned in less than minute.

Okay , i'll admit that Pain is a Badass character / war machine / how ever you see him as.
But Jirayai wasn't there to defeat him let alone take him on, he was there to gather information and even when he had the chance to escape he choose to remain there so he could continue gathering information. But if he were there to defeat Pain I think he would have done alot better than what he did do ( still would have lost, even in Sage Mode due to lack of info on enemy.

Basically, my point is that Pain is stronger than Jirayai but not "waaaaay more powerful"..

Sannins Vs Pain(s) however is a completely different story..

Six path against three Sannin?? Pain still win.. remember fact that three Sannin it's very hard to beat Hanzo Salamander but Pain crush it with easy alone. eye Jutsu still strong against non eye jutsu.
